I always loved the seven deadly sins growing up. Maybe that's an odd thing to say now that I think about it, but I was into creepy things even then and the concept of sins personified was so intriguing to me. This episode didn't disappoint. It was gross and gorey. The husband's death drinking drain cleaner was so gruesome and horrifying! And the best of all of it was seeing Sam, Dean, and Bobby starting to fall into a little bit of a comfortable routine with each other as they're working together more and more.

Despite being up against formidable foes they stood their ground and you can see the confidence starting to come out, whereas in a lot of previous episodes they had this air of 'let's hope this works.' And now it feels like they're becoming a lot more confident in themselves and how they handle themselves on hunts. They're growing  .

This was a great kickoff to a magnificent season!
