Dean and Sam nerding out over Samuel Colt’s journal is so funny
I loved the last 3 episodes, felt like the good old days.
Despite the Magic Kingdom name and Dean's suggestion "we'll Star Trek IV this bitch," this whole episode feel like a Back to the Future III reference. I don't know if the Supernatural writers just have a massive love for Back to the Future (why not it's awesome) but this is not the first and certainly not the last episode that refers heavily. Basically anytime there's time travel, and how many series do you get to say that about. So it's off to the old West to bag a Phoenix so they can use it's ash to kill Eve.
Dean has a Wild West fetish and Jared gets some early practice for Walker Texas Ranger, no really they make that joke!
This is a good episode that has some decent lines and furthers the overall series plot, just about, without sacrificing itself to exposition
