This is easily one of the most memorable seasons in the history of the game, and one that everyone needs to check out. The reason? Russell. There has never been a player like Russell, and probably never will be one. He was an open book, bold, aggressive, controlled the power all game, pulled off a comeback, was over the top arrogant. He was so cocky he was telling everyone else what he would do, and they still couldn't stop him. In episode one, he referred to everyone as puppets. Proceeded to dump everyone's water out in the middle of the night. Was lazy around camp to conserve energy. The second someone called him out, they were gone. No hidden idol clue? No problem. He found the first without one, used it, found another, used it, found another. At this point he is messing with every single person enough that they don't even want to waste votes on him because he is safe. When the tribes were divided and outnumbered with only four left on his tribe, he told the other tribe that his tribe was gonna win. What happened? His tribe was four of the final five, and only reason they were not the final four was because the last member of the other won immunity. When Russell won final immunity, what does he do? Brags to the remainder of people that he is the winner. The level of cockiness is unparalleled in the history of Survivor. The issue? He didn't win. The jury was bitter. Natalie ends up winning basically because she was nice. The jury did not want to award the arrogance. This has gone down as arguably the most controversial final tribal ever. Even Jeff Probst has spoken out about how this decision was wrong. While I support the GAMEPLAY aspect of the game, it is kind of comical to see good triumph over evil. Regardless of how much strategy she had, or how deserving her "Survivor" game actually was, she latched herself to Russell and played the PERFECT counterpart to Russell and let him destroy himself. Controversial and disappointing? Sure. But damn is it hilarious. Russell was so bummed he offered to pay Natalie for the title of Sole Survivor. Regardless, a super enjoyable season and is ultimately a good reminder that the winner of Survivor is not a defined type of person. Definitely check this one out!

This season has the most undeserving season of all time. A clear obvious winner was in the final 3, and yet we get a sack of potatoes as a winner.

I'M THE BEST. I'M RUSSELL HANTZ. While that was wildly entertaining, it got kinda boring after a while. Galu almost got no edit, which is a real tragedy because this could've been one of the best seasons ever if edited right.
