After several spotty seasons from 21-24, Philippines is a pleasant one! The gimmick of bringing back three medically evacuated players was solid, the "new" cast was solid with Malcolm, Denise, and Abi-Maria, the winner was solid, but something about it prevents it from truly being a season that sticks in my head. It's solid Survivor (yes I have intentionally said solid four times), but nothing about it screams telling people they need to watch this season. It is SOLID. I don't think anyone will discuss the season for superb moves, or a superb winner, but there is not a single real gripe. Not to mention Malcolm / Abi-Maria is a hero vs villain situation which is needed for any quality season. Anyways, a pleasant season for Survivor that I think any fan would appreciate!

I don't understand the hype in this season. I think it's just because it aired after S21-24. I don't get it. I LOVED Penner, Denise, and Malcolm, and the cast was good, but something felt missing from this season. I don't know what it is.
