Season 39

First season of Survivor I couldn't finish. 10 mins of hypocritical lectures every episode does not make for good TV. Do better Survivor.

This, actually was a great season, a season that taught some good lessons for a lot of people including CBS, Survivor crew and contestants and its viewers. I can't wait to see the next season, Season 40 Winners of War. With a lot of NEW CHANGES, It's going to be epic! And it all starts again in just under 2 months on February 12, 2020. Yay!! :grin:

Dean, Elaine, Noura, Tommy

Lord, this season was rough. Noura was just SO annoying, and Dean played the game exceedingly well (too bad he screwed almost everyone over and they decided to vote for the sweeter Tommy . Had a hard time getting through it and the ending didn't make up for it, if anything it made me madder.

This season, quite simply, bugs me. There were redeeming players, but the awful players out-shined everything else with screen time. The underdog and crazy players that have been gold for Survivor in the past, are absolutely intolerable this season. Every time you root for someone, or someone shows a human quality, they get the boot. The cancerous players are outspoken, vial, and a disgrace to Survivor. The winner was a fine winner, but the treatment of Dean at the final tribal blows my mind and I would expect nothing less from this cast. While I love the game and this still has enjoyable parts, this season is a hard recommendation for skipping. Survivor itself is fine, but everything else about this season is difficult to watch. Easily a bottom two season with Thailand. Survivor needs to give me more of Dean, Janet, and the Busted Can of Biscuits. I want the good people to have another shot to allow their Survivor legacy to live beyond this train wreck.
