So many mixed feelings about this episode but ultimately I say it's a...fun ep.

worst episode of an already lackluster season. this is all winners, not families on vacation... I never really cared about family visits in the first place (it's not like they won't see them in a week or so anyway?) and the fact that they dragged it out for HALF AN EPISODE is unacceptable. the tribal council would have way more impact if we actually saw some gameplay during the episode, but it looked like they were throwing advantages just for the sake of it. atrocious episode, they should be ashamed.

This was a nice episode, and I like that everyone on the edge of extinction also got to see and spend some time with loved ones.

I don't think that it didn't make a difference if Jeremy left or not for their votes with the others using the steal a vote, if he stayed the idol might not have been played for him, and with them splitting up the votes it made no difference that the idol was played because someone on their side would still be going home.

I liked seeing the ending when all of the players from edge of extinction went and thanked Jeff Probst!

I despise the whispering at tribal. That was never a thing before. They used to remain seated, uncertain, and had to rely on the trust of their alliances to vote accordingly, after a day of deliberating. That was fun to watch. This sudden, last-minute, inordinately-long scrambling with each other... is not.
