Take On The Takeaway sees different leading chefs creating different meals to outperform takeaway restaurants. They have to try and beat the price, the time it takes to prepare and most importantly the meal has to beat the taste of it's rival.
Each episode features a different chef and restaurant. Dean Edwards makes the shopping rounds for the chefs, and also returns with the takeout order on his moped. Rowland Rivron narrates all episodes.
