Thin Tim won't allow any visitors for Christmas except his Auntie Mabel. Peter, Paul and Mary toad invite the other animals to a party so they can nick all their grub.
Two frogs, Ernie & Sylv go looking for a new place to live after their pond dries up. They end up exploring Fat Tulip's garden and kitchen, where Ern takes an interest in the washing machine.
Thin Tim has come to stay with Fat Tulip, forcing him to clean up the airing cupboard and the rest of his house. Then Inspector Challenor arrives to shed light on a missing key.
Thin Tim wants to do odd jobs around the house, but Fat Tulip would rather play Frisbee. When it lands right in the apple tree, local policeman Inspector Challenor and his new dimwitted dog Dorian arrive to help.
Fat Tulip is throwing a party, but has eaten all the food on the way back from doing the shopping. When everything else goes wrong and Fat Tulip is just about to give up, a bunch of mince decide to help him out.
Nasty toads Peter Paul & Mary have totally messed up Fat Tulip's Garden. Nice frogs Ernie and Sylv mean to find the culprits of this dirty deed, even though they expect they might be terrible stinky monsters.
Fat Tulip gets a kipper in the mail, meaning Fred the Baddie is coming to stay. So he decides the best thing to do is to pretend not to be home. But a note on the door does not stop Fred the Baddie, who can't read.
Ernie and Sylv meet Lewis Collins, a tortoise who imagines himself to be very heroic, fast and strong. He first plans to jump over Fat Tulips house, but decides that would be too easy. He proceeds to dig a tunnel under it instead.
One thousand two hundred and seventeen bees are looking for a new place to stay. Ernie & Sylv invite them to join them in Fat Tulip's Garden, but Fat Tulip and Thin Tim take objection.
Ernie & Sylv are playing hide and seek. But when Ern hides in a bucket, he ends up down the well in Fat Tulip's garden. Soon all the other insects and animals think there's a monster (possibly several of them) down there.
Ernie & Sylv and all the other young creatures are off to training camp in the woods. But one of the teachers, Mary toad, is helping her kin Peter and Paul cheat at all the tasks.
All the mice in their hole that connects to Fat Tulip's kitchen are ill and Ernie and Sylv are looking after them. Fat Tulip isn't feeling very well either and asks Thin Tim to bake him a cake.
A lot of different animals are practicing for the Uglies Possible Face competition. Ernie and Sylv try to cheer up Mary toad by having her compete as well.
Fat Tulip's washing machine is broken and his door number is missing. The morning after he hangs up an orange peel shaped like a six to serve as a door number, seven washing machine salesman visit him, bringing along seven washing machines to demonstrate.
Thin Tim insists that Fat Tulip loses some weight and forces him to exercise in the garden and go on a diet. But Fat Tulip fills the shed with cakes and sweets for midnight snacks. Ernie and Sylvie want to investigate, but Lewis Collins the tortoise insists that he goes in first, disguised as a fruitcake.
Thin Tim has collected a pyramid of blackberries to make jam and orders Fat Tulip not to touch them. But when Fred the Baddy arrives and squashes all the blackberries, he and Fat Tulip have to go out to pick some more.
Fat Tulip loves the new pair of glow in the dark socks that he got from Inspector Challoner so much, that he refuses to take them off, even when Thin Tim begs him to do so because of the smell.
Ernie and Sylv were going mole riding to practice for the mole jumping competition. But Mary Toad had taken over the stables and replaced all the moles with hedgehogs. Meanwhile, Thin Tim leads Fat Tulip on a long march camping trip.
Sylv and Ernie are looking after their baby cousin Bunting the tadpole. But Peter, Paul and Mary drink all of Bunting's water out of her pram. Fat Tulip isn't allowed to turn on his garden hose by order of Inspector Challoner.
The mice are forced to break off their Summer Fair in the cellar when a lumpy cat arrives. Fat Tulip also wants to use the cellar to take a nap because Thin Tim is decorating his bedroom.
Ernie and Sylvie Frog are trying to teach Leon the Spider how to spin a web. Inspector Challoner is staking out in Fat Tulip's house, waiting to catch Fred the Bady.
Peter, Paul and Mary want the other animals to get them all the parts to build a go-cart. They promise to bake a cake for Bunting the Tadpole's one week birthday so they can steal the wheels off of Bunting's pram.
Fat Tulip has decided to learn how to swim. Unfortunately for him, that day 27 prisoners led by Fred the Baddy have broken out of their cells to visit the local swimming pool as well.
On the first day of their a seaside holiday, Inspector Challoner and Fat Tulip get themselves stuck in the mud. To the rescue come Dorian the Dog and Fred the Baddie, who stowed away in a yellow suitcase.
Fred the Baddie hides Inspector Challoner's uniform somewhere around the beach. The Inspector and Fat Tulip enter a fishing competition to win a money prize. Fat Tulip doesn't have a fishing rod, but uses the world's longest worm, whom he calls 'Bootlace'.
During their seaside holiday, Fat Tulip and Inspector Challenor find themselves looking after Dunwoody's key to the pier. But when the little white shell Fat Tulip put it in disappears, they could both end up in big trouble.
Fred the Baddie has escaped again and is heading for Fat Tulip as usual. Along the way he steals Dunwoody's Milk Float during a traffic jam. But Thin Tim and Fat Tulip have set up a Fred the Baddie trap for his arrival.
Lewis Collins the Tortoise is training himself to defend the garden from Aliens from Outer Space. Inspector Challoner has lost his favourite yellow blanket, on which he had written, amongst other important things, a list of people to invite to the Policeman's Ball.
