The 100: Season 7

7x16 The Last War

Oh WOW! That was an interesting ending. Didn't see that coming, specially during the 3/4 or begining of the 4th part.

Okay that was actually way better than i was expecting. This season was really bad but somehow the season did not fall of the cliff. If the season were more focused and better written, it could have been great.

Clarke should have spent the rest of her life alone though lol.

Weak ending. This series was destroyed in this last season anyway. Waste of time. It is strange that this is a "happy ending" when in reality it showed a superior and advanced species committing genocide against a technology inferior species by simply forcing them to "join the hive mind" or being destroyed. What a shit show this is and basically destroying the spirit of the series presented in season one. I am tired of nihilist series nowadays.

I loved this ending so much, This is definitely gonna annoy some people, they don't like the Transcendence stuff, I am not big fan, but it was a bit heart-warming to see them all together in the end of the sow. I believe at the end of their lives Clarke will die and go somewhere else but The rest will transcend. I hope the prequel will answer remaining questions but I have enjoyed it. A bittersweet ending as I expected for a phenomenal, heart wrenching, survival post apocalyptic show like this. The fighting is over, no more war. May we meet again.

I’m just so happy this crap show has finally ended.

So far no one ever chose to come back.

Did they though?
Not being able to create offspring effectively ends the human race still.

Also: Did they really come back? Being unable to have children is considered a defect in every human civilization.

How am I to consider these light beings as good? They take ONE person and decide the fate of civilizations based on their testimony.
Kind of reminds me of trial by combat somehow.

For me, this show has been ruined and I most likely won't rewatch it.
Ruined by one half sentence: "They won't be any offspring". Why was that sentence necessary? It could have been open ended.

That way it would have pleased religious people who want to become freaking lightballs and other people alike.

I would certainly curse the person giving me the choice between being a lightbulb and being sterile.

I found this finale disappointing and, to be honest, rather cheesy. On the one hand, it was great to see Lexa and Abby again and Clarke was great throughout but on the other, considering the creators had advanced notice/decided that this was to be the final season, this particular episode felt oddly rushed. This pseudo-religious final season hasn't been one of the better seasons, much as I've enjoyed the series overall, I just think it worked much better when rooted in a believable future dystopia rather than this very fantastical alien-religion themed conclusion. That said, I must admit that I couldn't help be moved by the (again cheesy) final scene on the beach.

I always used to be low key ashamed of liking this show. Always kinda considered it my guilty pleasure. Because let's be real: objectively this show is bad. So many dumb scenes (unfortunately a lot in the last few episodes of the last season), characters and all of that. But I'll be damned if I didn't come back every single week because of the amazing characters that I just fell in love with. So fuck it. I love this show and will be missing them dearly. Hoping for a great send-off.

I will really miss this show. One of the best one for me and very underrated. The ending was nice but kinda mixed for me. I love that transcendence was a choice but preventing them from procreating and restarting mankind on another journey is kinda anti climactic for me. And Wish they showed more people deciding to remain human as well since that would be more realistic as well haha. For those who have not watched this series. Go watch it especially season 1-3. The story arc and character developments on the first three season is just so phenomenal. Good luck to all cast and crew on their future endeavours and thank you for keeping us entertained all these years. :-)

This finale was ironic in many ways because it depends on if you are a glass half empty or glass half full kind of person. The remaining 100 effectively ended all of humanity, but in the best way. Madi did not come back. Says a lot about the Madi-Clarke relationship. Overall I enjoyed this series even though it got much weaker in the last two seasons. I guess Jasper was right. May we meet again.

Well they didn't fuck up the ending, the sccenes with Clarke in it were the most annoying but everything and everyone else seemed to have gotten their come-uppance.

The only thing that actually sucked was the loud wailing of Bono at the end. Fuck Bono.

That reset button must be really worn down with how much The 100 likes mashing it.

So much was left unanswered. Like who are the beings that decided if the human race lives or dies? What happens once someone transcends? So much more.

I think this show ended around 4 seasons ago. Just kept watching it getting worse and worse, dumber and dumber. This finale also confirmed it all. At least it's over, and I don't want to judge the creatives behind The 100, but probably the last 4 seasons should have been a completely different show.

In terms of characters, come on, Clarke makes the most absolute idiotic choices, Octavia (a bloody killer) stops a war by making a speech everyone listened to, which being a very peaceful speech does not even fit her character at all.

It's over thankfully. I enjoyed watching it, but just as background noise. Because, sorry to say this, but it's been a shitshow for seasons now and the amount of bollocks kept increasing.

And the ending, what was that? Did they just write it for the sake of it? I mean, I had a laugh, but it's complete nonsensical :)

That is all.

this isn't how i was expecting this to end but this is a great ending

The 100 became a hunnid times worse at the end but somehow managed to give a decent closure with some unanswered questions.
adios, I'm not recommending this show to anyone without a proper warning.

An odd ending but still fitting in many ways. I'm glad there was happiness and consequences but most of all I'm glad that Clexa was endgame.
Now we can rest.

Such a drama serie, glad it’s finally over.

A very suitable ending!! Applause!!

I really liked the ending, but there are a few questions still open. I still can't believe that this was the last episode....

I AM CRYING :sob::sob::sob::sob: WHAT A PERFECT END!!!!

The fact the transcendence it's a choice, and they choose to stay on Earth so they could live together for the rest of their lives is just so touching! Madi didn't choose to get back, but even so, was understandable.

That scene with Octavia "ENOUGH!!!!" OCTAVIA IS THE BEST THAT THIS SHOW HAS TO OFFER! The scene where all the humans turned into beings of light was so beautiful and the soundtrack was so thrilling. I will miss that show so much!!! MAY WE MEET AGAIN

I loved the endind so much.

A soppy finale to a weak final season of a once great show. Am I going to miss it? Maybe, we'll see.

Honestly, I don’t really know how to feel about the ending. I’m happy Clarke gets her “happy” ending and all that but at the same time I think it was kinda dumb:sob: I don’t know, I did still like the episode tho.

loading replies

A somewhat rushed ending but it's not bad at all.
May we meet again.

loading replies

I really didn't see that coming. Not exactly a happy ending... So many important and interesting characters came and went away. Too many good and bad choices over the show. A good entertainment, by no means.

The 100 had a 100 episodes.

loading replies

I won't waste my time on it. General feedback is it's not worth the time spent

A good ending. A bit predictable. Almost seen that coming seasons away. Was expecting some time travel Adam and Eve stuff lol. So, some humans decide to live a normal life back on earth and pretty much become the new Adam & Eve. I wonder what will happen to the future human race. Interesting.

Finally it's over and like past seasons, the last episode is always good and this is a nice end.

”The Last War” because you are fighting for the last time to not fall asleep.

I little bit disappointed. It was not literally bad, but it was strange. I liked happy ending but I would imagine something better, and maybe it could have one episode more, because everything was so fast. anyway the series was great and I will miss it so much :(

Damn, who's cutting onions.
