I wasn't sure if this would stand the test of time upon revisiting, but I'm pleased to say that this is a classic Aussie sitcom. I'm surprised how much it's dropped from relevancy given that it's one of the only pieces of quality Australian media I can think of.

As far as performances go, both stars use some fantastically expressive comedic body language but Lano's insane delivery is a bit more hit-and-miss than Woodley's lanky wierdness. Still, their chemistry makes for a great stooge dynamic with some excellent slapstick. And while it's nothing groundbreaking, it is impressive how most episodes have such a well-rounded setup and payoff. If I had to name a unique selling point, I would say it's Woodley's legitimately hazardous pratfalls and stunts. I noticed some subtle compositing effects to cover up safety equipment, but the man really throws himself around instead of covering up the accident with an awkward cutaway. I didn't think the finale was great, but sitcoms often struggle to think of a good ending so I'll take it.

Anyhow, if you need proof that there's at least one Australian sitcom that isn't terrible and embarrassing, this is the show for you!
