And, just like that, for a whole episode, we were back in the good old days! Of course, the guest stars helped a lot, but the guys gawking at the celebrities and the whole D&D routine, that's some of the stuff this show used to be about!
William Shatner succumbing to Sheldon's inexorable will and being all nerdy provided a very amusing viewing time.
Maybe it's the celebrity-sugar-rush, but I had a lot of fun watching this episode, like I haven't had in ages with this show (well, since Mark Hamill was in it, I guess)!

I am actually surprised they got William Shatner to make an appearance.

They should really havr considered making this a single camera show with no laugh track seasons ago. there were some fumny moments in this ep but the laugh track ruins the pacing and many of the jokes.(subtle and all jokes are laughed at with the same force as the more fumny ones.

Great. They did an episode with a celebrity D&D group and had about 30 seconds of D&D in it.

I felt that in the first minutes of the episode the performance of the cast was forced and empty but then with the appearance of the invited celebrities, the episode was saved from being a shit.

they really should have taken a note from community's playbook and centered this more on dnd. each episode seems to meld into the others with this show now. they are all very similar.
