Yes what Sheldon did in the end of the episode is stupid but I did laugh. While Amy's date stole the show with his obsession of Sheldon. "You kissed Sheldon and I kissed you, so if you think about it...."
Sheldon was his early self in this episode - or was he just not ready to give up Amy? ;)
I love the season. But as a matter of fact, I love all the series in sitcoms I got fond of.
