Finally a Ressler episode and what kind of one. Great episode that might have been better with a bit of Reddington but I suspect that doesn't make sense with the character of Ressler.
For a second I feared they would shoe-horn in a love-aspect at the end but I'm glad they didn't.
They just pledged that they would be taking care of one another forever and those fuckers didn't even kiss. I am not okay with this.
I really wanted a Ressler centered episode because after seven years there are still so many things we don't know about him but I hoped it would involve the rest of the task force too. I got quite bored until Liz got involved. Also I'm not sure I like where they are taking the friendship between Ressler and Keen... It's obvious they are taking it to a romantic level and I for one like them better as friends.
Pretty good for a Redless episode. Nice Anthony Michael Hall appearance as Donald’s older brother.
I still can't get over that Brian "middle name Ralph, as in puke!" Johnson, from Breakfast Club is Ressler's big brother. But I appreciate it, he is quite the actor! Nice to see the full story of Tommy Markin, too, even if most of this episode fel rather... obvious. Still a big yay thanks to Anthony Michael Hall.
An episode without James Spader? Boy, does it suffer for that. What a bore. Although since it was Ressler, it's probably the best it could have been, given those circumstances.
Was it really that hard to get an actor with the same color hair as Diego Klattenhoff to play young Ressler? Young Robby looked more like Ressler than young Ressler did, which ended up confusing me. I thought that young Ressler was supposed to be young Robby for like half the episode.
They couldn't have hired a ginger teen for Ressler?
"Relax. It’s just Mom. Who’s she gonna tell?"
That Albanian leader is Mexican. If you know what I mean... #breakingBad
Bit of a shit-boring ep. Best bit was seeing Johnny Smith back in action
I wish I could watch The Dead Zone TV show again.

What a good episode this was. It was easily my favorite in this entire season, so far. We got some backstory into Donald's past, along with his brother, and it was very engaging. I think he has been the most neglected member of the Task Force since the beginning, someone who was always there but never as significant as everyone else, so it was nice, getting more focus on him and his character getting more delved into. And I'm sure the more invested fans of the show that are consciously aware of every intricate detail that has ever been mentioned will like this episode even more, for that reason, because Tommy Markin was mentioned before, (right?), which I don't remember, at all, and in this episode, more context was added regarding him, and Donald's past. Anyway, as I said, this was a very good episode, and it certainly rejuvenated my consistent, fluctuating interest in the show. Now, I'm quite interested to see what the final two episodes have to offer.
