For a spin off of a derailed reboot, this show might have landed on its feet. It attempts to be edgy and progressive in every way possible in constant small doses. It inserts elements of the current political climate in an ironic way.
Slightly more entertaining than boring.

It's a fun rehash of "Rosanne" just a bit more 'woke'. It looks like everyone easily slipped right back into their old characters.

Back in Lanford for the second season without the banshee. Didn’t actually think they would renew this one but am glad they did. An excellent comedy and cast.
Didn't think I'd stay onboard after Rosie left, but it's still got that edge.. just a shame that Gilbert "Darlene" muscled in and got the herculean share of the story lines.. I would not bat an eyelid if they wrote her off of a cliff..
I was NOT happy how they did Roseanne in this show, but still a very good show to watch when I am feeling down.

I love the Conners with or without Rosie. It's a true ensemble cast. Everyone's got plenty of dimensionality, plenty of screen time, plenty of pathos, plenty of story. Great show that is what it is.
