Elizabeth Debicki deserves all the awards
I am fully aware that the Royal Family has actively distanced themselves from this particular season, but I was thoroughly drawn in during the final scene, because the pain which comes with a divorce (no matter who you are) is unlike anything else. I agree, it was one of the most authentic feeling episodes so far…
A very sad episode overall but brilliantly acted.
the moment they sat at that table I said "you old fools" and I was proved correct
Elizabeth Debicki is absolutely extraordinary. She embodies Diana on an otherworldly level. To reiterate what another commenter said, give her all the awards!
Can Charles please quit whining? Not sure I like Diana's portrayal as the ever humble and submissive wife (and all that looking up at someone through her eye-lashes... sorry, but can't she look someone straight in the eye?), but I sure as hell don't like Charles portraying himself as the victim here. He simply should have had the guts to go for Camilla in the first place and not let his family interfere. No, he wanted to be king at some point, he didn't want to lose fame and his position. His grand-uncle abdicated for love, so it's definitely possible for an heir to the throne to leave if it's possible (well, force-necessary) for a king...
I liked that final confrontation, even if I don't quite like and/or empathize with either protagonist.
My parents were separated and seldom see each other, but there're just sometimes that meetup is inevitable. The atmosphere between Charles and Diana when they talk greatly reminds me of my parents. It is honestly so realistic.
A very powerful and sad episode. That final confrontation between Charles and Diana was at first cathartic, but as the hostility again came out it could be only be described by one word: sad. The same word that truly describes this episode, and now I too feel that sadness.
Diana and Charles are terrible cooks

IMHO the first good and interesting episode in the season. And that final confrontation between Charles and Diana was just chef's kiss.
