“The Cutting Edge” is a series of four individual made for TV movies that has aired on the ABC Family Network from 27 March 1992 to 14 March 2010. Ice skating is brought to the forefront in this on again off again romantic comedy with a little drama thrown in as icing on the cake. The star of the 3rd and again this year the 4th episode in this series is 21 year old Francia Raisa who plays the role of Alexandra "Alex" Delgado who is a very beautiful, tough-talking Russian hockey player with fierce moves and a fearless skating style.
