Serve after serve after serve! GOT WISHES
I sat on watching this finale for a year because I just didn't want this series to be over. Having watched it, I STILL DON'T WANT THIS TO BE OVER (damn Netflix and their infamous cancellation trigger finger). This entire season, beginning to end, is just a masterpiece of fantasy artistry, intricate puppetry, rich and complicated storytelling, an excellent vocal cast. I even love how, amidst everything happening in this finale, they make one major continuity change, which may be something they planned to revert in season 2, but which may have also been a strong hint that this isn't as restricted by the timeline of the film as we thought it was, and that whatever forgone conclusions we thought were in place may be up in the air. Alas, they never got to carry on, so we'll never know.
What a great conclusion! Very anime ending. 10/10.
Gotta hand it to the show for actually killing main characters. Meaningful deaths that are actually impactful

What a ride this was, it exceeded every possible expectation. I haven't felt this way about a piece of media in a long time. Masterpiece.
