In the premiere of The Daytripper, Chet travels to Waco, Texas; home of Baylor University, Dr. Pepper, and exceptional mountain biking right in the middle of the city. If you thought Waco wasn't worth the trip, better think again.

Chet travels to Bastrop, Texas to conquer the mighty Colorado river, a mighty chicken fried steak, and Chet's mighty beard. But, I hope you brought your pool stick, as there may be a brawl ahead.

This episode, Chet travels to Burnet, Texas, from the high cliffs above Inks Lake to the depths of Longhorn Cavern, and some delicious Bar-B-Q and Tex Mex in between.

Chet travels to Luling, Texas to sample some of Texas's best Bar-B-Q and watermelon, followed by a visit to Shiner's famous brewery to wash it all down.

Chet travels to Fredericksburg, Texas; the land of German food, wineries, boutique shopping, and rock climbing. All in one day's time.

The Daytripper heads to Brenham, Texas to visit the home of Blue Bell ice cream, eat a 100 dollar hamburger, take a bike ride around Lake Sommerville, and get a history lesson on the birthplace of Texas, Washington-on-the-Brazos.

The Daytripper heads to Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch and Caverns then to Canyon Lake to wash off and find some Tex Mex for dinner.

Chet travels to Lockhart, TX to sample the four big bbq joints, Smitty's, Kreuz, Black's, and Chisholm Trail.

Chet travels to Wimberley, TX and visits Mount Baldy, the Gourmet Tamale Kitchen, Wimberley Glassworks, the Devil's Backbone, Blue Hole swimming hole, Brewster's Pizza, and the Corral Theater. Yee Haw!

Chet travels to Beaumont, he visits a model boomtown, the largest working fire hydrant in the world, Jason's Deli, he canoes, feeds alligators, and eats crawfish.

Chet daytrips to Llano, TX. He visits the historic jail with the Mayor, Cooper's Pit Bar-B-Que, Enchanted Rocks & Jewelry, Baby Head Cemetery, goes Llanite hunting on the Llano River, bald eagle watching, sails on a Lake Buchanan river cruise, and grabs a glass of local wine at the Canyon of the Eagles.

Chet travels to Galveston, TX. He heads to the beach, tries skim boarding, eats Shrimp 'N Stuff, goes sightseeing on the Galveston Harbor Tour, visits the historic district, the Texas Seaport Museum, and Moody Gardens.

Chet travels to Mineral Wells, TX. He goes rock climbing at Penitentiary Hollow, stops at Dee's Hometown Diner, tours Famous Mineral Water Company, goes to the National Vietnam War Museum, and Fort Walters Helicopter base. After these, he explores Clark Gardens and the Mineral Wells Fossil Park. Finally, he heads to Mary's Cafe in Strawn, TX where he feasts on their legendary chicken fried steak.

Chet travels to Austin, TX. He explores the unique places that "Keep Austin Weird." Chet tries some of the popular, local, food trailers. He then visits Zilker Park where he takes a dive in Barton Springs. His night ends at the Broken Spoke dance hall, known for its cold beer, good whiskey, and good lookin girls. Chet agrees that Austin may be weird, but aren't we all?

Chet heads to "cowtown" to visit the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, take a horseback ride, visit their art museums, and attend the Stockyards Rodeo.

Chet heads to Huntsville to explore the history of Texas Founder Sam Houston, visit the Texas Prison Museum, and go SCUBA diving in the piney woods.

Chet heads to Smithville! He bikes from Bastrop State Park to Buescher State Park, he eats some BBQ, visits a famous paper doll artist, and travels to an Automotive History Museum.

The town of Kemah may be small, but it’s just one tiny piece of the massive establishment that is Houston, and part of the Houston subset known as “Bay Area Houston”, consisting of Kemah, Clear Lake, La Porte, League City, Nassau Bay, Seabrook, & Webster. In truth, it’s very difficult to visit one without visiting the others. And why would you want to? This area is packed with Daytripper goodness.

Chet heads to Abilene to explore the history of the wild Texas frontier. He visits the world-class museum "Frontier, TX," Fort Phantom Hill, and the Buffalo Gap Historic Village. Chet eats along the way at Vleta's candy, making peanut brittle in Abilene for 100 years, Abi-Haus for a local, scratch made lunch, then to Perini Ranch Steakhouse for a prime rib dinner.

Chet heads to Lufkin to explore the Texas Piney Woods and one of Texas's four National Forests. He paddles the Neches River, hikes beneath the towering pines, and visits the Texas Forestry Museum to learn the history of the people who lived here.

Chet heads to Mason: the “Gem of the Hill Country.” As the only place in Texas to find topaz, the state gem, Chet learns about it from some local experts, sees the largest topaz in North America, and then goes hunting for his own treasure. He explores the interesting history of town, including the namesake Fort Mason, the HooDoo Wars, and more.

Chet heads to Orange to explore the swamps and waterways of this town on the Louisiana border. Chet visits the amazing Stark House and Stark Museum, then explores nature at Shangri-La Botanical Garden and with an airboat ride through the bayou looking for alligators. To eat, Chet visits the Old Orange Cafe, a modern cafe in an old dairy building and then at Robert's Steakhouse.

Chet heads to the State Fair of Texas to explore its history, excitement, and food. He hangs out with Big Tex (the fair's 55-foot tall mascot), see some prize-winning steers and ostrich races in the Livestock Exhibit, and explores the park's diverse fried food, including fried butter, fried thanksgiving dinner, and the original "Corny Dog."

Chet heads to the Marble Falls to explore its art, adventure, and cuisine. He visits the Pogue Foundry to learn about bronze sculptures, peers into historic "Dead Man's Hole," and then pushes his adrenaline levels on an ATV, a stand-up paddleboard, and a hang glider. Along the way he finds time for smoked fajitas, a brew-pub bison burger, and pie happy hour.

Chet heads to Lubbock and explores the Texas High Plains. After a trip through Texas Tech University and its traditions, Chet eats fried cheese and calzones at a few local hangouts, and then dives into history at the Buddy Holly Center, and the world-class archeology site Lubbock Lake Landmark.

Chet heads to Port Lavaca on Matagorda Bay to dive into its coastal food and lifestyle. He goes fishing in the bay waters, bikes to a historic cast-iron lighthouse, and explores the lost port city of Indianola where French explorer La Salle first set foot in Texas.

Chet heads to Grapevine, the "Christmas Capital of Texas" to catch the spirit of the season. He visits main street to eat at a French bakery, tours a winery, sees amazing sculptures of ice at the Gaylord Texan, and finishes it off on the historic railroad bound for the North Pole.

Chet heads to East Texas to the town that invented the hamburger. He visits the Texas Freshwater Fishery Center holding multiple state record fish and placing over a million large mouth bass into Texas water every year. He finishes off the day zip lining through the pines and eating the tastiest pizza in town.

Chet heads to the San Jacinto Battlefield where Texas won its independence. He experiences the renaissance of Baytown’s historic district including visits to a coffee bar and an artist painting every fallen soldier from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. After enjoying some southern soul food, Chet explores the brackish waters of the bay, and visits Battleship Texas, which fought in both World Wars.

Chet heads to the home of the King Ranch covering approximately 1,300 square miles of South Texas. He explores downtown Kingsville eating at an old pharmacy and soda fountain, then heads to the King Ranch for a history and birding tour of the sprawling South Texas prairie. To polish off the day, Chet dines at the historic King’s Inn seafood restaurant.

Chet heads to the “Sports Capital of Texas.” He eats a Texas-sized donut, takes a beekeeping class from Round Rock Honey, and then explores the history of town on Hairy Man Road and Main Street, where outlaw Sam Bass faced his final shootout. He finishes up the day cheering for the home AAA baseball team, the Round Rock Express.

Chet heads to West Texas and sleds down Monahans’s Sahara-like sand dunes. In town he finds Texas BBQ, culinary masterpieces, and history at a local museum built around an oil pit that could hold over a million barrels of Texas tea. He heads up the road to a museum in Roy Orbison’s hometown, then to another set of dune for a adrenaline-pumping dune buggy ride.

Chet explores the “Painted Churches of Texas” and dives into the German and Czech history of Central Texas with stops to a sausage maker, polka museum, and Texas dance hall serving hot schnitzel. He also visits the Stanzel Model Aircraft Museum honoring the iconic company that made model planes right in town.

Chet heads to no-man’s land to canoe the “most pristine river in Texas.” On this multi-day canoe trip, he fishes, camps on the banks of this blue river, and learns what it takes to survive in the middle of nowhere.

Chet heads north of Houston to explore a town built along the railroad. He visits its many historic sites and takes a flight on a WW2 B-17 “flying fortress” bomber. To polish off the day, he attempts to eat a “Mega Mel” burger coming in a 1 1/2 feet tall.

Chet explores the east side of Texas’s capital city exploring its food trucks, a modern butcher shop, and a house museum that “Keeps Austin Weird.” He visit the Texas State Cemetery with the graves of past Texans including “Father of Texas” Stephen F. Austin, and then pushes his lack of athleticism to the extreme on an obstacle course.

Chet finds heaps of history, including the alleged grave of Jesse James and the story of John Wilkes Booth hiding out here after his assassination of the president. He visits a Trappist-style cheesemaker, a sandy beach in the middle of town, and eats fish tacos beside a lake-front marina.

Chet visits “The Big Bend” of Texas with stops to learn its history and climb to a mountaintop classroom. He eats at a steakhouse inspired by the movie “Giant” and devours hot dogs from a truck that takes wienies to a whole other universe.

Chet heads to the “Lavender Capital,” harvesting it from the field and drinking it in lemonade. He explores the historic courthouse used in the movie “True Grit” and a buggy museum that’s supplied Hollywood with all its western needs for years. He visits a brewery, eats BBQ, swims in the Blanco River, and plays traditional 9-pin bowling with Blanco’s German residents.

Chet joins the “snowbirds” and heads to the Texas coast in the winter time to see some of the only remaining wild whooping cranes. He indulges in the coast’s amazing oysters and seafood then visits “Stinky Beach” and sees one of the largest and oldest live oak trees in Texas.

Chet heads to the desert to go swimming and SCUBA diving in a spring-fed pool. He eats homemade gas-station burritos and authentic West-Texas tacos. Finally, he goes rock hunting for some of the area’s famous blue agate.

Chet goes fishing on Lake Fork, one of the most-famous big bass lakes in Texas. He visits a historic square with a see-through public restroom and then explores a museum dedicated to the dairy business.

Chet dives into the town’s wild west history with stops at Fort Concho and a brothel museum. He eats donut sandwiches and stuffed avocados, along with mountain biking the scrubby landscape and looking for fresh water pearls dug from a local river.

Chet heads to “Big D” to explore all that’s happening He views town from the top of Reunion Tower and visits the Perot Science Museum. In Deep Ellum, Chet eats authentic Texas BBQ, and in the Bishop Arts District he shops at “Mantiques” and visits an experimenting chocolatier. He takes a bike ride on the urban trails along the Trinity River, then polishes off the day serving chicken biscuits.

Chet explores this old German town built along two pristine rivers. He starts at the oldest bakery in Texas and then heads to a museum and learns why the Germans picked this area. Chet tubes the Comal and goes wake boarding without a boat at a local cable park. He then dodges alligators at a roadside attraction and grubs on a bowl of flaming hot Texas chili.

Chet heads to a small town in the shadow of Houston to explore a living history park full of reenactors and a local swamp full of alligators. Along the way, he learns about a local shoot-out, eats some 3-generation Tex Mex, and visits an observatory to see the wonders of the night sky.

Chet heads to the panhandle where he finds Caprock Canyon State Park which is full of beautiful views, horseback riding, and the Official State Bison Herd of Texas. In town he visits a museum that’s dedicated to Bob Wills the “King of Western Swing” and another that’s rewriting the history of the Native Indian Wars. Top it off with a bison filet steak and that’s a day trip.

In his “Viewer’s Choice” finale, Chet heads to a modern town with a vintage feel. He visits a museum of roadside attractions and nostalgia, then visits a local soda fountain for a back-in-time meal. Along the way, he visits a museum in an old jail dedicated to history and a museum in a local college that’s dedicated to Texans at war. Chet Finishes the day over a plate of Texas BBQ.

Chet heads to West Texas to explore one of the most beautiful and most remote national parks in the U.S. From desert hikes to balanced rocks to jaw-dropping mountain hikes with 100-mile views.

After a night backpacking to the South Rim, Chet wakes up to head back to the basin. After summiting Emory Peak (the tallest point in the park), Chet and crew head to Terlingua, where they explore the town’s old mining culture, eat at an old theater, and celebrate at the historic “La Kiva” bar.

In a town that epitomize Texas Bar-B-Q, Chet interviews 3 different pit masters, each with their own spin on Texas que. He visits a museum dedicated to the governor who defeated the KKK in Texas and goes fishing on the best “crappie” lake in the state.

Chet visits a town in the piney woods known for designing the famous “Lone Star” flag. He tours a wolf sanctuary, eats meatloaf in the historic district, and then goes “fly boarding” on beautiful Lake Conroe.

Chet tours this German community with stops along Main Street for “fickle” pickles and milkshakes at an vintage drive in. He goes underground at a cave without a name, hikes through a nature center along Cibolo Creek, and then joins a shooting club in operation since 1864.

Chet visits this town in South Texas to “remember the Alamo” and pay his respects to the Texas heroes’ hidden grave. He explores the largest Mexican market and a museum of curiosities, floats along the Riverwalk and dines on iconic Tex-Mex.

Chet explores this East Texas town's history at the old high school and searches for a hidden waterfall at the local park. He then learns about giant balloons at a NASA facility and hunts for hogs in the dark woods.

Chet travels to a town that’s full of fossils where he walks in the shadows of fake dinosaurs at an amusement park and stands in their real footprints at a state park. He then explores a museum about the beginning of civilization and goes wild on a safari.

Chet heads to the coast to learn how to surf the waves and shell the shore. He dines on local seafood and learns the boating history that brought FDR to this coastal hideaway.

Chet heads to a Northeast Texas town, where he dines on sushi and samples the legendary "Pittsburg Hot Links." He goes mountain biking at a state park and explores the aviation history of town, including the Ezekiel Air Ship that claims to have beaten the Wright Brothers to flight.

Chet heads to the Texas border to sample the Tex Mex culture. He shops the mercados, eats at the restaurantes, and finds lots of historia on the famous “Streets of Laredo.” To cap it off, he paddles the Rio Grande on the look out for migrating birds.

Chet heads to the “Pecan Capital of the World” where he learns about the 1000 or so different varieties of this nut. He drives across a historic suspension bridge, stands below the famed “Wedding Oak,” and shops at a western store that’s five buildings wide.

Chet heads to the coastal bend and explores one of the most historic towns in Texas. He learns how to throw an atlatl and how not to throw a disc for disc golf. He eats at the oldest deli in Texas and even jumps in the Guadalupe River.

Chet kicks off the seasons throwing a dart at a map and proving that no matter where it lands in Texas, there’s always something to do.  In Belton’s historic downtown, he visits their heritage museum, eats some excellent BBQ, and stops off at the oldest department store in Texas.  Throw in some mountain biking and dinner at a renovated cotton gin and that’s a day trip.

Chet heads down the Texas coast to the North Padre Island National Seashore. He experiences a sea turtle release, and then heads down the longest undeveloped barrier island in the world fish, swim and camp on its shores.

Chet explores a small town that's known as the home of "Billy the Kid. " He uncovers the story of whether or not Billy died in New Mexico or made it to TX to live to his old age. He rock climbs inside some renovated grain silos, and visits a chocolatier that making some of the most amazing truffles on the planet.

Chet gets wet on a lake just outside of Austin, exploring everything from its swimming areas to its restaurants. He tries his hand at wake surfing and then dines at the Oasis which is known as the "Sunset Capital of Texas."

Because it’s one of the largest cities in America, many folks know about Houston, but Chet takes viewers off the beaten path to explore its hidden side. He goes underground into an ancient cistern, visits the wild art side of the city, sees the ship channel and finds authentic eats inside Houston’s Indian district.

Chet heads out west to the Big Country to see what’s slithering down at the rodeo grounds…and what he finds is a TON of rattlesnakes at the Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup. He tries his hand at hunting and milking the rattlers, and even munches on deep fried rattlesnake! He also learns about the important work of the World War II WASPs and chows on some delicious BBQ.

Chet goes junkin’ in Round Top, where he finds plenty of antiques, eats one of Texas’s most famous pies and visits a jaw-dropping concert venue.

Chet trips through the “Tomato Capital of the World” for a bushel and a peck of fun! He watches baskets get made at the Texas Basket Company, gets down and dirty on an ATV and has some good eats along the way!

Chet heads to the “Cowboy Capital of the World” for horseback riding,a massive chicken-fried steak and a cowboy shoot out.

Chet trips through the Red River Valley where he visits a 75-year-old baseball glove factory, sips Texas wine and learns about legendary cattle drives.

Chet heads to West Texas to see some of the most pristine and mysterious cave art in the country.

Chet drives the “Mother Road” through the Texas panhandle visiting the iconic people and places that made it famous. He tours a classic car museum and pulls off to explore famous roadside attractions including a 190-foot cross, a slug bug ranch and a museum dedicated completely to barbed wire.

Chet and crew look back on the best (and worst) of the first 100 episodes of “The Daytripper.” They reminisce on their favorite stories and make some new memories too.

Chet explores one of Texas’s most beautiful and primitive parks. He hikes to scenic overlooks, dives to the bottom of caves, swims in the spring-fed pools, and fishes the flowing river. Finish it up with BBQ at a local general store and it’s a great trip.

Chet heads to East Texas where he visits a town named after the hero of the Alamo. He visits the springs where Davy drank and explores the National Forest named in his honor. He strolls the Spanish “El Camino Real” and stands in awe of ancient Indian mounds.

Chet heads back to Waco ten years after his first episode to see how much the town has changed. He visits the Magnolia Silos, explores the Mammoth Site, and flies 20 feet in the air off a new water slide.

Chet explores the wild mountains of West Texas with a trip to its highest point (Mt. Livermore). He eats at the historic Indian Lodge, drives the famous Scenic Loop, and polishes it all off at a local bistro.

Chet visits this Hill Country town where he tours James Avery’s jewelry factory, slides down a dam on the Guadalupe River and enjoys some craft beer from an old house. He sees Stonehenge 2 and finishes it up at a vintage general store.

Chet visits Northeast Texas to ride in a Hot Air Balloon and eat some Bodacious Barbq. He tries his hand on an adventure course with water obstacles, learns history, and eats some homegrown Italian food.

Chet visits Central Texas with a tour of the second oldest hotel in the state, the Stagecoach Inn. He swims in the local springs, takes a pottery class, and then enjoys a local brew made beside the creek.
