Power of believing in yourself?? Really?? Y'all wasted so much time talking barry into putting in some damn effort that u stopped mask dude getting freed
Why did he have to stand that near. That was so obvious
Just been rescued after months of painful, psychologically-traumatising incarceration at the hands of the multiverse's biggest, nastiest speedster? Pull out the "I can't leave - what about my life, my friends!?" line when your father tries to save you from a horrible death.
Whoever wrote that needs a whipping.
are all of them closed by now? I guess Zoom can open them again. I'm pretty sure he can.
Besides, another Theory is that the real Jay Garrick made an experiment and took V-6. Then, he has a real clone, the Jay/speedster, like a mirror reflection, a speed mirage, If you will. And then, this reflection/clone was Jay Garrick speedster, who, conveniently wanted to be faster and lso took V-6, making him lose his speed in order to create another clone, Zoom in this case. So, Zoom needs to get all the speed he can in order for his cells not to die. Therefore, he needs Wells to bring him the flash's speed.
Anyway, this is just a theory but since there's no real explanation of who Zoom really is, Jay has to play an important role There, otherwise he will not have Jay/iron-masked guy as a prison.
Anyhow, I can't wait to see next episode. It's really haunting me. I'm looking forward to see the next one. I'm honestly hooked on The Flash and I can't wait to see how it resolves. Plus, next week's episode looks pretty amazing with the Diggle family and the Jaws tribute. Loce the promo. Hope it gets more interesting as it evolves.
Read you next week guys!!!
I have just realized that Keiyan Lonsdale (Wally West) appears in the credits of the episode, but he does not appear in the episode. So, I've thought that perhaps he is the Man with the Iron mask. At the very Beginning I thought he was a Black guy, but after having a Look at the back of his neck and his blond hair, I thought he was Jay Garrick. But then I Looked for some photos of Keiyan Lonsdale and he appears with blond hair. I don't know what to think. But as I said, It is haunting me. I swear that Zoom's identity is driving me crazy. I need to know who he is. I need to know.
I've checked one of the promos od the next episodea (it's a mix of these two episodes on Earth-2) and at the very end of it, Zoom takes off his mask. I'm exites to see what happens!!!
Geomancer getting in was the biggest plot convenience/device ever. lmao
@Fast Enough I agree this episode has me on edge. It's haunting me too! Haha, I haven't been able to stop thinking about, who is zoom really???
What an amazing episode!!! The very beginning was haunting with all those "Bring me Wells". Amazing! I thought thisepisode was going to be focused on Zoom's psyche anyway but it was a good one. Everything was pretty obvious, especially the very end. Come on, "Jay" giving his back to the speed cannon and you do not think he's going to be sucked up to Earth-2? Awesome anayway.
I've been working on a theory since Last episode and I think that, obviously, Jay has a role to play in the story. Let'sget started. The creepy iron-masked guy is the real Jay Garrick, the original one, the one who is just a Man, the one with an apple-pie life who became a speedster when the particle accelarator exploded. Then, he wanted to be faster and he took velocity-6, but it didn't work. So, out of him, therecame two, another Jar Garrick (The one in Star labs) and Zoom. That's when Wells' sentence in the episode Enter Zoom makes sense. Caitlin said that Zoom can't be human, and Wells replied that he was once. It means that he is an evil Jay Garrick that has come out as a consequence of V-6. I buy this Theory. Therefore, There are three Jay Garricks: the one are familiar since episode 1, the Iron masked one and Zoom (and of coirse Hunter Zolomon). So, The Jay Garrick we are familiar with and Zoom are just two projections of the real Garrick (The real speedster who lost his speed when he drank V-6). they are mirror reflections and Zoom has Jay/iron-masked imprisoned in order not to Tell anyone what Zoom's identity actually is.
In a way this makes sense. Besides, the fact that Zoom wants to be faster is that he needs the speed from other speedsters, otherwise, his cells will die, as well has it's happening to Jay Garrick. I guess this is a good option. But now I'm wondering, what if Jay speedster and Zoom are just Clones of the real Jay Garrick? Wouldn't it mean that if the real Jay dies, both of them will die since they are the result of the speed drug? And what about the breaches?
Not to get close to the door that closes if the bad chasing you, you have not learned that
who is zoom ? Can't wait
It's always a good episode when Zoom is involved
I love E2 Barry:sob: he’s so funny lol
I'd really like the look of E2 but I think they got a little bit to gung-ho with those mirrored characters. Nonetheless, good two-parter. If you take out that meta, who was only written in for the Jay story, I'd be tempted to say very good two-parter.
I think the man in the mask is (a) Jay but I could throw in another name to possible be Zoom. What about Eddie Thawne ? So far they brought back everyone from S1 so why not him ?
OK, flash from E2. In this episode, you're going to have to squint real good when you take Velocity 9. Can you do that?
I was quite enjoying the Earth-2 content - until that way, way too obvious final moment in this episode. Ruined it all. Who wrote this and thought "Yep, this is how it should end. Perfect!"?
All that screen time increase in Jay, was a clear flag being raised that something.
And how many times does catelyn has to go through that?
Ronnie,
The ronnie 2.0
Now jay?
And even earth 2 ronnie.
And really, a speedster doesnt have time to rescue mask guy, it wouldnt even take 10 secs.
More time was wasted talking n saying hellos!
Cheap tactics.
Why's there always a J. Jonah Jameson type character in every comic book heroe's story?

As soon as I saw Jay standing alone by the not entirely closed breach I fucking knew he's a goner. But what's up with the man in the mask "knocking out" his name? Is Jay a key to defeating Zoom? Is Hunter Zolomon Zoom after all and it wasn't just an easter egg for the comic book readers? My original thought that the Earth-2 Jay is somehow Zoom from the past and his experimenting with Velocity' variations will be his super villain origins, but surely Zoom wouldn't kill himself, so that went out of the window. I also had a crazy thought that the man in the mask himself is Jay, because the back of his head looked kind of similar. Man it's messing with my head. They sure keep up the mystery this season.
