I'm so surprised with the CW shows this season. I'm enjoying all of them, which is nice. I was looking forward to tonight's episode especially because I wanted to know more of Cicada. He really seems like a compelling villain, despite not knowing the motif behind his back, at least not yet. The episode was pretty funny and it didn't have Cisco in it, which was a damn shame, to be honest.
I love Ralph. Just like that. Capital letters. I love my elongated detective so damn much. He proved to day that Ralphie is still a good detective. I wasn't expecting Sherloque to actually say it was all thanks to Ralph's idea. Our Wells would've never done that. Props to Tom Cavanagh. The guy is a treasure. He gives a compelling portrayal of every Wells he plays, and he plays too damn many. Although I love seeing him being different versions of Harrison Wells, I'd just love if they just stick with one and they give us something different, but I will never ever complain about Tom Cavanagh being on the show. It doesn't even matter who he's palying as long as we have him on the show. Truth be told, I'd love to see his Eobard Thawne again and something tells me we'll see him again soon.
You know, something struck me at the end of the episode. I had no idea that Jessica Parker Kennedy was actually older than Grant Gustin! When she started crying and Barry came into the room, she felt older than him and my brain wasn't processing correctly. Then I checked and realized I wasn't going crazy.
I'm guessing now it's Barry and Iris vs Nora: The Flash, Civil War. Seriously, that look in Nora's face was pure teen angst. Like when you ask for something, your mom says "no way in hell" and then you turn on your dad for some comprehension and all you get is your dad and your mom aligning with each other, making everything even more impossible. I, for once, thought it was a bit silly of Iris to try to justify her actions without knowing why she took them in the first place. I hate this "If i did that, there must've been a good reason for it", but I sort of agree with Iris. Without knowing the cause, you have to take into account every possibility. I can't beleive Iris would do that to her daughter. I'd only understand it if it's out of protection. Protection as in "If other discover you are a meta and a speedster, notheless, they'll come to get you". Maybe Iris was protecting her from Thawne or other speedsters and that was the only way in which they couldn't take her powers. I can only think about that possibility. I refuse to believe that Iris was anything but a loving and caring mother to her daughter, especially after Barry was gone. I can't see Iris doing that.
Speaking of powers. If Iris didn't tell Nora she had powers and Barry wasn't there to tell her, who did? I'm guessing it was Thawne, and that he also taught her how to turn back time. We're still to see who gave Nora the idea of punching the satellite and since her interaction with Wells at that moment was pretty strange. I mean, even Wells' voice sort of changed and i swear heard Eobard. But that must've been just my crazy imagination wanting to see Thawne again.
Also, that scene at Jitters where Nora angriy explained to Iris what happened was so powerful. Candice Patton can be many things, but she's an amazing crier. i swear it feels to damn real, in each and every scene she's in. I don't usually like her that much, but she rocks those emotional scenes like no one else does.
Barry running has to be the funniest thing ever. Sometimes I wonder why does no one in Central City know he's The Flash, but then I reember that they have seen him run and that there's no way a speedster could be that weird a runner.
I swear this show goes miles to find a way to create new metas. So now we've got a meta-phone. What's next a meta-fish? Meta-water? Like oh no, that guy's secret weapon is a meta-scale from a meta-fish to murder us all. I wish they'd showed a little bit more of Spencer. I wonder what Cisco's nickname for her would've been. Clickbait? Anyway, I wish Team Flash realized they have a phone which can actually be used to compell villains with villanous intentions to surrender. Or that they can use it to actually introduce a dfferent idea in Cicada's head. But since this is The Flash, they'd probably find a way of making Cicada invulnerable to meta-phones or whatever. Like that calcified speedforce energy. Immune to everything. Also, why does Cicada have stripper poles in his house? Anyway, I'm really looking forward to knowing more about him and his true intentions. I love these little teasings they are giving us.
Joe finally left the sofa! Well, he was standing in the frame fot he door but either way. I guess Jesse L. Martin must be having some health problems, otherwise it's just for the laughs.
That first scene with Iris uncooking was so damn cheesy. I mean, I love seeing the Flash family together 'cause it warms my heart but that scene was so weird to watch. I love her "I'l make you a banana". For a good 5 seconds I was wondering if I heard correctly like, a freakign banana, are you serious? That's no cooking Iris, that's cheating.
I was a bit pissed off that no one mentioned the fact that Nora just phased through Barry's chest Reverse Flash style and that she even reversed time (?) or steal Barry's speed to be able to catch him. However, that revering time thing I guess it's quite difficult to see if you are still running fast. But the whole phasing thing was weird, especially since they made it clear that she didn't know how to phase. Moreover, she did exactly the same genteure to kill Barry as the Reverse Flash. Coincidence? I think not. That together with the fact that she didn't get the idea of helping Barry punch the satellite and that someone must've told her about her powers if it wasn't Iris... I don't know, maybe I'm putting two and two together and making seven, but I'm curious about that. I also find it interesting that Nora and Cicada have the scar in a similar spot.
Nora must have quickly become a fan favorite, so much, that y'all are willing to turn against Iris. Yes, Nora is adorable. I get it, but, let's keep it real, she adds zero value to the series. I prefer to have Cisco's ex-girlfriend Gypsy join the main cast than Nora.
Nora is fast becoming an annoying whiny brat, not sure I can put up with a whole season of her...
I mean, we know from Legends of Tomorrow that in 2042 there's an anti-meta-human police state (possibly because the Flash vanished and no one else stepped up?), and with Barry disappearing in 2024 and then still being gone 25 years later (that is, in 2049), and Nora finding out sometime after that that she's a speedster - it actually makes perfect sense that Iris would dampen her powers so she'd not end up in a freaking meta-human concentration camp, and I don't understand why Nora does not mention any of this. Then again, Zari's backstory never gets acknowledged in the other shows, so perhaps LoT will end up changing it - or it's just bad writing, which, you know... has happened before.
Iris is the worst. It's too bad every scene with her is having me roll my eyes like Nora with her mom... It's so totally not shway!
When I got used to Ralph, they throw in another brat, I don't like Nora.
I don't see any problem with XS not getting her powers until she is an adult age. Teenagers are notoriously rebelling and unreasonable. I know, I was one, too.
It’s been an absolute delight watching Iris leading the team and jumping into action, this season. I feel that the writes have found the right balance with her in the plot. And talking about plot... it certainly thickens. We spent four seasons worried about meta-humans and now we need to worry about meta-tech? This is becoming a little too wild!
Moreover, what the hell is wrong with Nora and why would Iris get all this crap for something she hasn’t even done yet. I mean, it’s Iris. She must have a damn good reason.
Nora is a super cute girl. The Flash was lacking a lesbian. The CW can’t have that. I should have saw that coming.
This is why Titans is the best DC show. They just focus on the story over who everyone prefers to sleep with. Well so far anyway.
Well at least the Flash isn’t over the top preachy like Supergirl.
This episode was Surprisingly better than the others,it was a bit dramtic but digestible.
Love the breakfast moment in the beginning , the more they go beyond star labs ,the more I love it.
I think it's time Star lab should do other things except saving central city, how are they even running that place, also who pays Cisco and Cathlin.
I like the new meta ability and the idea of meta tech is really cool.
Iris jumping into action was good , the only thing I miss is that chinstrap.

How can you blame Iris for something she will do in the future which she doesn‘t even know the context neither the reason
