bro Eva coming out of a shutdown TV was so evident. come on.
Amidst Covid-19 they had to cut the season short but this episode could have been a season finale, setting things up for next season nicely. However... this season was by far the weakest of all and this episode was no exception. It lacked depth and I feel like we've been going in circles with the same sort of dialogue, the same issues for a bunch of episodes now.
Barry keeps losing speed, though, it seems to be a very slow process... excruciating to watch in my opinion. One of the things that I always loved about The Flash was Barry's upbeat personality and he's been going down a dark path for most of this season. Plus, this story arc focuses a lot on Iris and it's been tiring for a while now. Why wouldn't Eva just release Iris and co from the mirror? She has zero use for them.
I found the lack of Cisco in this episode poorly written. His girlfriend is in the mirrorverse, wouldn't he be at the center of this trying to bring her back? Are we suppose to believe he is doing all of that behind the scenes?
That is also a big issues with this season. It used to be Cisco, Barry, Caitlin and a variation of a Wells. Joe and Iris were a part of that too and eventually Ralph got in but now we barely see Cisco or Caitlin (though the latter is because of her pregnancy in this season of course but still). One of the last shots of Barry, Nash, Cecille, Joe and Allegra made me sad. It felt so far from where the show started in a bad way. I don't care for Allegra much either, not warming up to her whatsoever and this relationship they are trying to force with Nash and Allegra or Allegra and the team feels as forced as Allegra feels toward Nash. I hope season 7 will do better. The only things I've enjoyed truly about this season was the return of Thawne, Hartley Rathaway and everything pre Crisis.
Still I can't bring myself to shoot down the entire show or even this episode because there are always these little moments that make it worth it... like Sue and Ralph... sadly that will not be continued next season as most of us know by now.
I think this is sadly the season finale. Since the season goes on Netflix tomorrow.
Which is because the Coronavirus lockdowns didn’t allow many seasons to finish filming. Including the Flash, Supergirl and Charmed.
The finale was supposed to be epic and include the Reverse Flash. So this was a weak finale but not anyone’s fault.
I get this is a CW drama, but can we please have one, just one episode where the focus isn't someone's emotional boo-boos? How about some story progression? Maybe character development that takes characters from one dimensional cardboard cutouts to three dimensional figures you can resonate with on some level? Any level? How about focusing on Barry for a change, remember him? He's sort of the main character? He has this whole problem that is of extreme consequence which he has to solve?
sigh Whatever, I digress. This whole season was just one big hallway scene, pathetic writing all across the board. The Flash - if I can even call it that anymore considering how it almost seems like the writers have all but forgotten about Barry - is done, to me at least.
One of the showrunners mentioned that this episode would feature one of the biggest fight scenes done on The Flash. Okay. I sat there and watched it, the cringe and boredom slowly intensifying. What a disappointment. The fight scene, the episode, and the entire season.
Can the people complaining about this show just drop it already? Ffs it's the 6th season's finale and you're STILL somehow here when all you do is whinge...
For a hastily edited finale, I think they did a solid job. Whomever edited that fight scene was clearly having fun - probably the most dynamic fight (not the biggest) at least. Yeah it could have been better but you have to remember the context. (Still a better resolution than Cicada...)
It's amusing how much time people spend on something they hate, judging by the fact this is the first positive comment and there's 4 negatives ones before mine - and the episode at the time of writing this holds a 77%.
And now we have to wait god knows how long on a cliff hanger !
I'd like to see the next season take place in the Garbageverse, with Flash and the Gang matching wits with the likes of Trash Man and Landfill Lady. At least then it can accurately be likened to the raging dumpster fire that it already is.
Since Crisis the quality has really taken a nose dive, it wasn't good before, but I was really noticeable. I was not sure if I was watching The Flash or the Power Ranger Rangers. The Finale solidified that with its Power Ranger quality crap fest. Nice job at the end to have a cliff hanger to get me to come back next season. It did not work, I no longer care about any of these characters. It appears I am done with the CW Arrowverse. See ya.
I haven't even finished it but I have to comment this before I forget : look it's a treasure map, let's point it at random at a map, and the center is the bad guys hideout? Wtf
If you are reading this honestly don’t waste your time with this season nothing happens just watch the crisis on infinite earths and move on.
Oh boy... how did this show got so bad? This should entertain make you think make you wonder and have fun... just like the walking dead Im fighting my self each episode trying to find an excuse to keep watching.... this is one of the worst seasons I have watched...
I think I'm gonna rewatch the 90's Flash, atleast there's not as much drama in it as this one has.
It’s the end of another season of The Flash and - as most of you as promised - I genuinely hope you all finally drop this show once and for all because all this weekly negativity on the comment section is seriously getting old. We all know this show isn’t perfect, but If you’re that bothered by its writing and editing (even amidst a freaking pandemic) maybe, just maybe, yall should have given up on it a long time ago. Good riddance.
On a side note, I’m actually upset we won’t get to see Ralph again. Especially considering how heavily his plot has become with Sue, this season. #BringBackHartleySawyer
Someone need to put this awful show out of it's misery. It only had two good seasons! The entire cast seems miserable!
This whole season has been a futile attempt to find a reason to continue watching. Just like my abandonment of Supergirl...crap acting, uninspired writing, powerless superheroes and non-stop whining have just done it for me. The CW heroes contribute little in the way of entertainment for me anymore.
I think I have finally figured out what is wrong with this show...the show has contracted COVID-19. I talked to some medical professionals about the show & they confirmed that based on what they’ve seen the show has the virus. Hopefully the virus kills the show so we don’t have to suffer any longer.
I can't belive this is the Season Finale. This was so stupid and bad. Like anything doesn't make sense. And what the fuck is up with Barry's speed? It's supposed to end but it never does.
Like others, Flash is over for me. The last 2 seasons have been epic failures. Especially this season, which was nothing short of a cluster fk.. Totally uninspiring.. No depth, no real arc, laughable 'villains', the list goes on and on. I'll keep S1-4 but 5-6 goes to the bin.
Worst season ever. The Charlie's Angels rip off was so bad. Please don't return for a while. Barry is a waste of space being such a slow poke.
oh no iris ☹☹☹ where my fav hoe trapped behind the mirror shm tsk tsk tsk , come on broda get them iris out ya?
le rock n roll mamanh

I found that episode kind of lackluster. Was the fight scene supposed to be something special? According to one person in the comments it was, yet I'm thinking...what fight scene, oh you mean that boring attempt of a fight scene? There was nothing much to that other than some bullshit split screen crap, it was lousy and not exciting whatsoever. They have done much better many times over before. I'm not usually someone who makes negative comments about this show but this episode kinda sucked.
