Guessing Candice had covid or something

A weird episode.
On one hand, I’m sick of this show being a pathetic romcom. It’s a load of bollocks and it needs to stop. I don’t care that Killer Frost’s loins get tingly for some hunk who forgets how to wear shirts.
I also don’t care for Cecile being such a pointless token character. Does she even spend any time with her husband at all ever?
And Chester? What’s he even all about. He’s not funny, nor is he relatable. Pretty sure he also had a pretty epic power. Where’d that go? For a man with the ability to throw whatever he likes into a literal void, he sure is a massive wet flannel. For a man with a silly high IQ, be sure does blunder a lot too.

However, on the other hand, it was nice to see some running happening in the show again. It’s been too long since the Flash did any running and it was nice to see something that wasn’t just a shitty budget chick flick. The Flash is meant to do the running way more than he has been for the last season.

That was very Good Episode, I think it's the best episode since season 4 has ended

The world needs a mask to go outside but Caitlin Snow does not need one to perform surgery

Are you kidding me?
They set up a great threat with six(!) Godspeeds, which gets only solved be another six(!) Godspeeds?

This episode has literally twelve Godspeeds and goes nowhere with that.
This episode was a complete waste of my time.

Cecile continues to be an absolute disappointment. Absolute filler character at this point.

The episode starts off so so badly, that I am surprised it didn't get worse.

I was so excited to finally read that this was gonna be a Godspeed episode, finally seeing a good Speedster for the first time since Savitar (yes ignoring Nora). Horrible. Shameful that they ruin Godspeed episodes as well. The slowmo fight. The barely 10 seconds of CGI speedrunning. I miss the show being about speed, it's all emotions and feelings now, and the one episode that actually has speed finally, ends up with such a disappointment. Not that this episode lacked any emotions and feelings crap. The way the story tried to include Iris even though she's not there the whole episode, so cringe.

What is becoming of one of my favorite shows? Look I'm glad they brought some of the lighthearted feel back through Barry and especially Chester (Nothing against Chester, he is great, i love him!) but the storytelling is all over the place. There is no longer one big bad and it's chaos. All these loose stories for a variety of characters just isn't working for me plus I miss having a Wells around and Cisco.
I like seeing this relationship between the new ice guy and Frost develop but that's just about it. The Kramer story line isn't catching my attention I watched that car blow up and I felt nothing. Nothing! and Allegra with her cousin, yawn. No.
It's time to wrap it up. Let there be one final epic story line with Thawne, end it the way it started and let the show rest.

Who else thinks Chester is an annoying chessy character?

I've serious problems with giving up/quitting, said I was done after the previous episode, but I've decided to make the end of this season my last. If nothing else, at least the pointless fights were fun to watch.

By far the best episode of the season, even the last few seasons.

The stakes of the story actually feel real, they remembered that Barry is the main character and didn't spend too much time on the side characters, and the action scenes were superb.
They also remembered things like 1. He needs to constantly eat cause of his metabolism. 2. He's a genius scientist and 3. Going super fast has consequences to non-speedster stuff. They don't make a big show off of any of them but simply remembering those things in general is more than they've done since season 3/4.

All in all this feels like the showrunners actually remembered how to make The Flash again, even if we get it only for an episode.

And it just so happened to be in the episode which Iris isn't part of in any way. Hmmm... almost like there's a connection there.

This was just cringe and horrible. The writing is subpar and the acting even worse.

I guess Mark is joining the new cast of C-Team Superheroes of the season. While Barry just focuses on Iris stuff.

Team Crap at it again but this time they just spin in circle. Best part of the show, no Iris. Hope they fired her.
