Okay so I think we all can agree that Cassie is dumb and reckless but I think her brother was too hard on her, it’s fine if he doesn’t want his kids to be near Cassie cause of her addiction, that’s a though but understandable choice but the restaurant fight wasn’t about that, he felt threatened that his kids are gonna like Cassie more or like him less just because of a gift, and I can only imagine that as a parent is annoying when people disrespect how you are raising your kids but Cassie wasn’t thinking about that, she gave them the gift cause she feels guilty of being a shitty aunt and money/gifts is how she thinks she can make up for it! And then he is blaming her (the younger sister) for her dad’s homophobia and yes it’s sad he neglected you but he made her an alcoholic and it’s not a pity competition but she didn’t have it easy either so FCK HER BROTHER!
This just keeps getting more interesting. One episode a day, I don’t want to binge watch.

The series format is good and interesting. The music, the tension and all that. But it can not go for too long, it becomes tiring and annoying if you do the same thing for too long. So for the moment I think they are reaching the limit they can do this. This series should have been half of what it is right now. 4 Episodes for the whole story would have been enough.
Michelle Gomez is brilliant ofc and Cassie's issues sure run deep. Seems like her phone is messed up since that's two people that couldn't hear her properly? Things are getting twistier by the second

Typical studio checklist fulfilled; gay couple with black husband, adopted girls where one is black & one is Latino. The down side of throwing in random stuff like this is that all it does is create a stereotype which will be hard to remove. Just like the stereotype of white is good, black is bad.
