The opening scene at the stadium was one of the best things I have ever watched in my entire life. Everything was so well done. I am very impressed with the whole episode, but that scene was quite special.

I was really looking forward to this new season. Since we're going beyond the events of the book, there was no telling what would happen. What a fantastic episode! Although it probably wasn't the smartest idea for me to eat while watching it (I'm not particularly squeamish, and not many things make my stomach turn, but boy, that one Handmaid getting her hand burned and then June cutting into her ear really got me). The flashbacks were so interesting, especially since we got to the point where the Sons of Jacob carried out their attack on the government. And that ending? Hell yeah! Such a satisfying moment!
Why do I keep doing this to myself? This show manages to fill me with rage and indignation like no other has ever done before. I just want to kick the snot out of everyone, starting with that fanatic psycho Lydia. Seriously.
In a time when the human race could go extinct, cause most women are barren, the few who can have kids should be revered, not tortured and treated worse than cattle.
Screw the patriarchy, screw all these religious assholes and screw everyone who thinks they have the right to abuse other human beings. I hope they all die a very slow, very painful death.
And then, the ending happened, and Goddammit, I'm sucked in again. Cause, really, June burning her clothes, hair and cutting that damn thing out of her ear was so very satisfying and badass. It felt good, not gonna lie.
One of the best and most intense hours of television I have ever witnessed.

Hadn’t expecting Nick to be there either. So he’s an eye but also with Mayday? Or they’re the same? That wouldn’t entirely make sense.
I really hope she truly is “free” now, and they don’t find her and bring her back. I’d love to see the story from a new perspective. It would make sense for it to move forward now, we know what happens in the role of a handmaiden by now, let’s see something new.
I'm trying to watch S2E1 but what I'm getting is obviously a much later episode in the season. So, that's great. The entire season has been spoiled for me. Which episode should I choose to actually see the first episode of the 2nd season?!??!!! I'm watching on Kodi via Exodous through Trakt
The "previously on The Handmaid's Tail" was the only thing that was really understadable this episode.
Unfortunately, I'm too invested now to leave.
I wanted to wait and binge-watch the whole season when it’s out, but I just couldn’t wait anymore. The opening scene is one of the best things I‘ve seen on tv in a very long time. Great season premiere.
