So, ruining everyone's life because of not getting laid? That's pretty fucked up aunt laidya :)

Interesting, that was June's first act akin to villainy. It's uneasy mostly because I still remember how was the general feeling towards Eden, so while I wanted that handmaid to pay for what she'd done, I know she was a victim as well. I wonder how it compares to Emily actually killing that wife in the colonies.

Lydia's story was kinda what I expected, so it was a little underwhelming. She felt inadequate, then ashamed, and chose to put the blame on someone else, and eventually on the (women of the) world.

They dont do aunt Lydia's backstory justice. I expected more depth for aunt Lydia's backstory and that's what we got. Also I feel bad for Ofmatthew, fuck you June, you son of a bitch.

Aunt Lydia is pure evil

Oh June. Some evil with an extra double dip of dumbness sprinkled with ignorance and hubris. Presented with a feisty face.

It's beyond any logic that in a society that harms even the most innocent figures, she remains pretty much unharmed despite her frequently challenging the system in the most absurd and childish ways.

Seriously, if the background story and details of the show plus many other characters wouldn't be so interesting, I'd have abandoned the series a long time ago. I certainly didn't stay for June.

Fantastic episode! Finally a Lydia backstory we all deserved.
Almost felt sad for that old hag for a moment. Almost.
In the end she did what she always do. Ruin people's lives.
She's irredeemable. Way way more than Serena.
So if anything this only made me hate her more.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We needed to know something about someone else's past. But come on! That came out of nowhere. This season is becoming weak after two great seasons.

Mother Fuck.... Is the evil!

Hmmm seeing aunt Lydia making out? Weird flex but ok.

I agree, with the way aunt Lydia acts, there has to be more emotional, and physical abuse in her past. We want to know - what caused her to become this?

Where is my comment at

So, aunt Lydia became that crazy ass asshole became she couldn't get that dick? Okay.

Also, what the fuck June???

So should we still feel sorry for June? I (kinda) don't... She's become a stuck-up bitch and now she turned into a bully. Say what you will about Ofmatthew but she's in it as much as they are but sure... let's put the knives on eachothers' throats just cause they have a different way of dealing with things.
It almost seems it was written by a certain subgroup of people who think it's okay to do vile things as long as it's done to those who, in their eyes, deserve it.

But at least they show that women are complex beings too, capable of doing more then be great and the best ever.

I was waiting for this episode. I really wanted to learn more about Lydia ever since she was introduced to us. Not that this episode sheds lots of light on who she was but it does show something about her drive.
The ending of this episode had me laughing out loud... not a laughing matter (for sure) but Aunt Lydia's reaction reminded me of that one scene from The Office... 'NO!'

Finally some backstory on her!!!! I’ve been waiting for this #auntie
