It's no doubt Song Joong-ki is a good actor.
Great serie, but weak ending.
Loving someone doesn't mean sacrificing yourself for them . You create monsters when u shield someone without teaching them the consequences. This is the gist of the story ; although we seen with a parents love
When Nice guy loves someone he goes full hulk ...he is ready to make any sacrifices for his loved one.

I liked the idea that Ma-Ru at the beginning was a much darker character than we've seen in other revenge dramas. He wasn't afraid to use people and was okay with being used himself. What made him interesting was watching his transition from a shell of a human to someone who had something to lose. I also loved Eun-Gi's character in the beginning, she was passionate yet cold, bitchy but kind, and was an amazing mix of all these opposite traits. I didn't particularly like her personality transformation in the second half of the drama because I felt like the writers only changed her to fit the plot and she became a puppet to the rest of the show's whims, but she swung back in my favor later.
I really disliked Han Jae and was about to drop the show at 8th Episode but the next 2 episodes turn the tide around and it seemed interesting again.

I feel like "Nice Guy" should come with a big neon sign that says: "All ye who enter, abandon all logic here". Because honestly, the only way you will enjoy this drama is if you don't think about it too much and just go with . Although I quite enjoyed it ; especially the ending it seemed half-glass full ; the problem with this show is its very very slow ; unnecessary replays and slow shots ; the direction is not upto standards and just dragged long for TV ratings. Bear with the first 8 episodes i can't guarentee the pace will puckup but it certainly a good feeling to watch it till the end.
This drama is so angst. It's slow and albeit frustrating sometimes due to the hero jumping between loving one girl and another but it's all worth it. The plot was nice and there is some suspense occurring. The ending was sweet and simple, it's really up to the one's imagination about what happened. I would recommend this to people who like watching KDrama with the genre angst/romance/melodrama.
i love the story line of this drama..kdrama lovers.u should watch this...

I finished watching it today. Couldn't start a new one... I'm still grieving. The story seems etched in me... still tugging at my heart. I know it's fiction but the sense of loss I feel is real. Maybe it's the ending... I saw the glass half empty, although that red box makes me feel it's half full as well.
