Some people seem to have bizarre expectations for this show...it's a The Soup reboot under a different name. It's Joel showing clips and making fun of reality TV. Mindless entertainment. The aim isn't sharp multifaceted comedy of the type we got in Community.
Not entirely sure what some ppl here expected from this, just because it's on Netflix doesn't mean you HAVE to watch it. BUT if you did enjoy Joel's previous show "The Soup" or copys like Tosh.0 this certainly IS for you. It's a great piece of garbage making fun of all the rediculous bullshit that is going on in reality TV and more now and there are some completely missplaced guests in every episode again. So far I really like it so we'll see how long this will last on Netflix - I don't really expect 12 season like with The Soup but I'm in for all we get. ;)
I realise this is "what Joel does" but it's nowhere near sharp enough for my taste.
i watched the original Talk Soup and continued to watch it when they revamped it to The Soup in the early 2000s. i was excited to watch this show, but i only made it 7 episodes before jumping ship. i wanted to be a fan, but it was not enjoyable, in my opinion. ill probably go back to it casually, but it's nothing i'm looking forward to each week like i was before.

Well, the only thing I liked about this show was that parts of the cast of 'Community' were in its first episode. Otherwise this show is barely even bearable. Go watch something else, with this you'd just be wasting your time...
If you're into Joel McHale, Community is far better!
