A retired snooker masterhand YAU YAT-KIU has opened a restaurant “Cue Power” in Sai Kung. He likes fishing at leisure time. The junior owner of the renowned dessert shop KAN TSZ-HIM looked for KIU at “Cue Power” in Sai Kung. However, he mistakenly recognized KIU’s younger brother YEE-PO as KIU and was teased by KIU’s daughter KA-KAN. KA-KAN’s new boss CHIN TO-TO was on board but she just viewed KA-KAN as a hard working cow. HIM went to “Cue Power” again asking KIU to be his tutor. Also, he attempted to take a look at the legendary “Yee Tin Cue” but unfortunately hurt KIU. “Yee Tin Cue” was found missing. KIU suspected HIM. Having interrogated HIM, KIU found that he has already tried very hard to look for it which has impressed KIU. KIU set up a trap to draw the person taking “Yee Tin Cue” out and tell the truth……
KIU watched the contest of his daughter KAN. During the break, he checked if KAN was injured as he found KAN’s posture was different from before. KAN felt severely painful of her arm and decided to withdraw from the contest. HIM introduced KIU to TO but TO forced KIU to leave unexpectedly. HIM asked TO why she hated KIU but TO did not tell him the truth. She just claimed that KIU has won HIM’s father SAU-MAN. TO’s boyfriend JASON proposed to TO in front of her family. TO was so glad. In order to learn from her father, KAN tried to arrange KIU playing snooker again. Having found the truth, KIU has blamed her daughter. Meanwhile, TO arrived with swell…… While KAN was quarrelling with KIU, KIU cheated her that the “Yee Tin Cue” was sold out. HIM then bought it back. KAN asked HIM to return the cue to her father. They had quarrels. In the birthday party of KIU, HIM gave him the “Yee Tin Cue” as a birthday present.
HIM found KIU having “shrimp paste toast” for breakfast and requested one for himself. PO suspected they were father and son because of similar taste. PO took an opportunity to visit KAN in her office in order to investigate the relationship of KIU and HIM. TO and JASON took the car to a garage for repair and thought KIN-CHUNG was a worker over there. KM told TO that they would cooperate with a world-class snooker player. TO found out that player was CHUNG actually. Having found the business of the dessert shop of HIM’s family dropping a lot, KIU relayed to TO. TO and HIM investigated the books of the shop and found out they were facing a financial difficulty. HIM interrogated his second uncle SAU-TAK who has managed the shop. However, HIM was blamed by TAK of his idleness and extravagant behavior. HIM was shocked. TO could not reach HIM and tried to find him in KIU’s restaurant.
KM asked TO striving for a contract cooperating with CHUNG. However, TO has just sent KAN to visit CHUNG’s manager TONG TING. In fact TO was meeting CHUNG in person. CHUNG has revealed TO for pretending his ex-schoolmate approaching him. While TO went shopping with her cousin MARY, she witnessed that her fiance getting intimately with his ex-girlfriend STELLA. MARY has persuaded TO pretending nothing happened. On the other hand, TO discovered that HIM has sold out the family business to TAK. She was enraged. HIM outrageously stated that he would open a restaurant. In order to let HIM understand that he has no such kind of experience, KIU let HIM working in his restaurant. HIU-KO returned the cue that HIM gave him. He even told HIM that he was spoiling time with him as instructed by his father. TO convinced HIM to take the challenge offered by KO……
KIU has agreed to teach HIM which has enraged KAN. KIU explained that he would just teach HIM the principles of being a good man instead of snooker techniques. HIM has become a staff in the restaurant and has a fresh start. On the other hand, TO found JASON and STELLA meeting in a hotel room. During the quarrel, TO and STELLA both fell down to the swimming pool. However, JASON just took care of STELLA which triggered TO breaking up with him. While TO was meeting JASON, she returned all the gifts to him and consolidated the monetary issues between them. Having found out PO giving all the work to HIM, KAN took HIM out of the restaurant and told HIM that KIU did not have intention to teach him snooker techniques. KAN asked her father of her talent in playing snooker, KIU was shocked speechlessly. While KIU was viewing the CCTV tape of the restaurant, he found out HIM has overcome the difficult set – “3 balls in a stack”…
HIM has become a formal apprentice of KIU. KIU has requested HIM to put aside his hatred and not contesting with KO. HIM wanted to practice snooker but KIU asked him to work in the restaurant. In fact, KIU wanted to train HIM for his interpersonal skills. KM informed TO and KIN-CHUNG that they would cooperate in future. CHUNG told TO that this was him to make the initiative for cooperation. He asked TO to forget about her failure in love affairs and focus on work. KIU proposed to teach his daughter on snooker but KAN refused. KIU asked HIM to contest with the kids taught by PO. Unexpectedly, HIM lost. JASON sent the wedding invitation to TO in person. TO scolded him severely. Having seen that, HIM comforted TO by using the method how KIU has comforted him. With father’s advice, KAN defeated the competitor and agreed to be an apprentice of KIU.
KIU asked HIM to contest with KAN in order for them to better understand each other for improvement. On the other hand, KIU found an article of PO’s interview taken years ago and bought it for PO, however, it triggered a quarrel between them. PO proposed for a leave from the restaurant and house chores. Having talked to PO, KAN found that he wanted to open another restaurant. TO visited HIM in the restaurant. She found out he was not learning snooker from there but just working as a waiter instead. TO was angry. She brought HIM leaving the restaurant and even stopped him from learning snooker there. KIU has allotted 50% shares of the restaurant to PO in a solicitor’s firm in order to reconcile with him. KIU found that PO knew an investment consultant and worried about PO for being cheated. PO decided to play margin rashly…… TO arranged HIM to work in her company and had KAN to train her. KAN was discontented.
With the help of KAN, HIM learned snooker from KIU secretly. PO intended to commit suicide by jumping into the sea. Actually he lost all his savings in the stock market and even has loaned for $1.5 million. HIM helped PO solve it. PO was affected but asked HIM not to reveal it to anybody. At the first time HIM met CHUNG, they both had nothing to talk. HIM brought the video tape to post-production company but lost the tape eventually after he got a phone call from PO…… TO would like to arrange re-casting, but CHUNG and TONG-TING have left Hong Kong. Eventually KIU helped them solve it. HIM told TO that he has already confessed his fault to KM and received a letter from him…… TO found HIM has withdrawn $500,000 from the bank……
PO had a lot of debt. KIU has nothing to do but to sell out the restaurant. KIU was distressed and acted abnormally sending her daughter to her office…… KIU met TO and proposed to resume playing snooker. KM told TO that their company has a contract with CHUNG and asked TO to decide whether they should cooperate with KIU. TO was hazed…… KIU asked MISS CHU to discuss their deal of the restaurant but she forced price down. TO suddenly appeared and proposed buying 50% share of the restaurant. TO invited LI for a tea and in fact she wanted to have CHUNG cooperating with AU-YEUNG KIN. As a boss of the restaurant, TO found the team were not professional at all. The PR company has organized a snooker contest. KIU agreed that KAN and HIM could earn more experience by joining the contest. While they were practicing, someone challenged them.
HIM and KAN defeated the competitors by teaming up. Their relationship was improved. TO proposed managing the restaurant in computerization which has discontented the people. Because of their polarized management skills, KIU and TO finally agreed to decide the way in managing the restaurant by their revenue. TO won as KIU sided a staff’s mistake. On the other hand, TING told CHUNG that the advertisement was casted by KIU which discontented CHUNG. The staff of the restaurant came into a strike. TO has nothing to do with it but to seek for help from her family and friends. TO was exhausted and fell down. Finally she consented of KIU’s management style. The snooker contest was approaching. KAN sent HIM with the cloth for contest. However, she found HM more skillful than her. She has mixed feelings.
KAN and HIM joined a snooker contest together. HIM chanced upon KO and defeated him by his skillful hands. Finally they were both reconciled. KAN copied HIM’s technique in order to prove that she could play as well as HIM. However, she lost eventually. KAN asked whether she was a talented snooker player while KIU was comforting her. Because of cross-questioning by KAN, KIU finally admitted that KAN was not a talent. Having known the fact, KAN was so agitated and left…… TO found KAN hiding in the car park, she brought her home and comforted her. CHUNG and TING interrogated TO for asking KIU to re-cast the advertisement. They proposed to challenge KIU. HIM suddenly said he would no longer be an apprentice of KIU because he was a trigger to ruin KIU and KAN’s relationship. The son of HIN-WAI was back from overseas. WAI asked KAN to teach her snooker in order to show off in front of her son……
With the help of KAN, WAI could show off her snooker technique in front of her son. KAN was also affected. TO spoke for KIU which made KAN understand her father’s love towards her. CHUNG was the champion of the weekend contest in the restaurant. KIU agreed to contest with CHUNG in private. After the contest, they did not mention anything about the contest. On the other hand, LI found out her husband has a secret lover. Having seen the power of KIU’s favourite cue “Yee Tin Cue”, KIN and TO wanted to found a compatible one. They failed eventually. CHUNG’s famous level dropped because of the internet rumor that he was defeated by KIU in the contest. TING then invited the King of Snooker in Thailand SO KOO-HA to Hong Kong contesting with CHUNG in order to gain back his reputation. With the help of KIU, TO found “To Lung Cue” from CHUNG-TIN. CHUNG treasured “To Lung Cue”. He thought TO admired him……
By using “To Lung Cue”, CHUNG could beat up HA reputably. CHUNG invited TO for a celebration dinner but in fact this was just an excuse to date her out for a candle night dinner. TO told HIM that KIN proposed to sponsor HIM to be a professional snooker player. HIM then discussed with KIU in the restaurant. Having learnt that, PO proposed to be HIM’s manager. While PO negotiated the contract in KIN’s office, he found out that KIN had intimate relationship with his secretary. He then brought LI to witness it but it turned out that LI helped cover it up. TIN’s assistant said KAN was bad in playing snooker, CHUNG suddenly appeared and proposed to be her trainer. TO discussed with KIU about her relationship with CHUNG. KIU suggested her to tell CHUNG the truth, meanwhile, CHUNG appeared…… CHUNG asked TING to strengthen KAN’s power. TING hypnotized KAN to help her concentrate. KIU found KAN acted weird……
During the practice, HIM could not solve a bottle-neck shooting which fussed him over. KIU guided him by using bowling technique that woke him up all of a sudden. TO blamed him for being a professional snooker player, he should not agree to contest with KAN. Having trained by CHUNG, KAN like casting off her old self and even defeated HIM. CHUNG spoke in public that he has played better than KIU as he could train up KAN to defeat HIM. KIU was not angry but just laughed. He even thanked CHUNG to train up her daughter. TING interrogated KIU in private. KIU responded calmly. TING then told him their resentment over the past 20 years. KAN suddenly found out he was gradually losing her memory about KIU. KAN was anxious. TO revealed what TING did to KAN. She was so enraged and even told CHUNG that she did not love him actually. CHUNG was shocked.
KIU agreed to contest with CHUNG but the condition was to have TING retired if he won. The news was widely spread out by the press. PO was discontented for KIU not practicing but just sailing and fishing. KIU told him he was in fact training himself. TING taped furtively when KIU was practicing with HIM. He showed CHUNG the video. CHUNG blamed him. LI asked her husband to have a trip to Europe with her preparing for her pregnancy. It was revealed by PO. LI was so angry and told the press that it was PO to reveal the relationship between her and her husband. A reporter intruded into there and took some photos while PO was explaining to LI. In order to get back the film, TO chased out and nearly got hurt. KIU got his arm injured for saving TO. KIU was trapped by TING at the beginning of the contest. He fell down……
KIU was poisoned but, by his will, he finally won by using his new tactic. CHUNG proposed to terminate his contract with TING when the press was asking if TING would keep his word and be retired. KIU was anxious after the contest. HIM understood that KIU wanted to play snooker again. HIM then encouraged KIU. HIM gifted KAN with his dairy which was recorded the happenings after he met KAN in order to help her recovering her memory. The press thought that LI intended to suicide when she admitted to hospital. On the other hand, PO was discontented for TO’s protecting KIN at work. PO scolded TO when she arrived the restaurant. TO suddenly fell into coma…… In order to promote HIM, KAN went to HIM’s apartment for some information. However, she found out several pictures drew by HIM. HIM met TAK and revealed the resentment between his father and KIU.
HIM was annoyed and thought that KIU was the one who ruined his childhood. While KAN was practicing billiard, she met the skillful CHAI FEI. HIM chanced upon TING when he was practicing in outside snooker club. TING told HIM that he played like his father. HIM took the opportunity to ask TING about his father. In the teaming session of the contest, KIU saw HIM and wanted to teach him some new techniques. However, HIM refused to learn. HIM and KIU both promoted to the next rank. KIU found that there was something wrong with HIM’s style. LI declared to divorce in the solicitor’s firm but KIN objected. He provided several photos of LI and PO…… KIU has discontented for HIM by using snooker technique to fool the competitors around. In order to guide HIM back to the right track, he taught FEI how to defeat HIM.
Though FEI defeated HIM, HIM can still be promoted to the semi-final. KIU asked TO whether HIM has acted differently. Both of them found out that HIM has known the truth between his father and KIU. KIU asked TO to arrange a meeting for him and HIM at the snooker club. He apologized to HIM but HIM did not accept it. He said TING told him that KIU betrayed him by telling FEI for his weakness. He was enraged and proposed to end the relationship between him and KIU. KIN terminated the sponsorship to HIM in order to revenge LI for divorce with him. KIU found sponsorship for HIM secretly in order not to avoid him influencing from this matter…… CHUNG found TING badly off and agreed to train HIM helping TING for his career. HIM put up with his weakness and defeated CHUNG and even got the sponsorship from TAK.

He did not tell KIU had PO taking care of the restaurant in order to get himself prepared for the contest. LI has his family though the doctor diagnosed that he might be blind. TO found out that TING was going to publish a book to reveal the tactics that HIM defeated CHUNG. It has discontented TO and she objected this on behalf of her company. KM blamed TO for objecting the plan and asked her to have KIU cooperating with her company. TO was forced to take a vacation. KIU knew that TO was protecting him actually. He then contacted KM…… HIM found a snooker diary while cleaning TO’s room. Having practiced, HIM improved a lot…… KIU was sick but could still win by his faith. Eventually he passed out during the contest.
Having learnt that KIU would take the challenge from HIM, CHUNG dated KIU. He recommended KIU to enhance his feeling by practicing yoga. KIU asked TO not to put too much time on the half-blind him when TO was taking care of him carefully. TO confessed to KIU for her feeling. HIM and TING hanged out in a bar and got his hand injured by someone. KAN was not confident enough when contesting with a strong competitor during the final round of billiard contest. However, someone has triggered her memory and comforted her by a coin. Afterwards, she found the coin was given by HIM through that person…… In the final round, KIU found HIM using “To Lung Cue”. In fact the cue was lent by the generous CHUNG for HIM to contest with KIU’s “Yee Tin Cue”. All of a sudden, KIU lost his sight and TO showed up……
