I'm kind of used to gory stuff on HBO, but that very first scene was so hard to watch. I couldn't really look at it and was glad when it was over, ughh.
Damn, I've been nurturing blind hatred for those GR people but this episode took it too far.
I've now come to sympathize with Kevin. The guy really has a lot on his plate. And then they mess with the man's clothes, come on!
i'm missing something and i don't know what it is exactly... i'm not connecting with these characters and these situations in the highest level of concern. it's all kinda distant. the whole gayle situation and the sheriff's family... it's just uninteresting. i really hope to get some answers soon.
oh, and kevin is a fascist. terrible way to treat the laundry man.

This show is definitely testing my patience. Oh well, I’m all in. After its all said and done I believe i will be rewarded somehow someway.

What’s with hbo and like the rapey vibes? Why is Kevin a creep looking at his daughter’s friend like that and having dreams with her... like imagine you can’t have your friend over cause your dad is a creep.
Finally the Wayne/Tom storyline makes sense. We already know this ATFEC organisation will just murder on sight, because we saw it. So when they offer to take care of Kevin's Guilty Remnant problem, we now understand exactly what's going on here. I hadn't thought much about the 9/11 links on my first watch (not because they're not obvious, but because I'm not American), but it's hard to deny that this is straight retort to the invasive powers smuggled in after that event.
