It's been a while since we've seen Quentin handling cards, hasn't it? I've never been fond of card tricks, but since The Magicians gracefully infuses those with actual magic, things get much more interesting. And how delightfully ironic it was to see Quentin winning the game by cheating for real (i.e., not cheating through magic).
Also, that whole good luck/bad luck sequence was so much fun! Getting a paper cut on a paper towel... Absolutely hilarious!
Still breaks my heart to see Eliot like that, though... And Margo, by consequence.
And what will happen to my beloved Marina?! Oh, please, don't let the show be cruel to her a second time (even though she deserves it)...
Oh dear, that Bear is really quite dangerous... :o :D Poor Quentin and also poor Josh.
That card game was quite fun though :)
I'm not sure why but somehow Julia feels a bit like a close friend that I haven't met for a while. Anyway, I hope she gets her powers back and won't die. Currently she's such a nice person in this broken world.
And now we know why you should always choose carefully when picking out a teddy bear.
