Daaaaang. I'm not often impressed by Patrick's contricks but in this episode the FBI agent digging around for Red John has found out that Patrick went and had the body of Faux John tested by his blind lover for ID. Now this is actually the most tense thing in ages. She's coming up to him to ask him about it and Patrick in the smoothest way possible completely sidesteps the issue. He with barely a metaphorical shrug shifts the discussion to a simple bashing of the Rosalind as a witness. "oh she's not really reliable she knew him ages ago". It was so smooth and BA it's like the show didn't understand and treated it like just another scene which made his smoothness even more smooth.
