This show is really different from what I imagined it to be. I actually thought after the first episode we would get hints and flashbacks from time to time and slowly figure out what actually happened. But so far we haven't really gotten any new clues.
I mean I still find this show interesting, but I'm wondering where this is going. One famous theory (that I also had in mind) is that his lawyer John Stone set up the whole thing because he either wanted to simply kill the girl for whatever reasons or because he wanted money. It would also explain why he was so eager to be Naz's lawyer and to be okay with "only" 50.000 dollar. And so far there aren't really any other characters that could be the actual murder.
Well, I have no idea where this show is going, but this is not necessarily a bad thing, so I'll keep watching!
Oh yea!! There you go!! Behind bars inmate manipulation. Raw human nature in prison. Watch what you self disclose and pick your allies wisely. I think they conveyed this aspect of being incarcerated, temporarily or permanently, accurately. Well acted can't wait to see the next episode.
The lawyer reminds me of Jimmy McGill. Small time lawyer defending criminals for petty crimes, doesn't make big bucks, can't afford a car, desperately trying to make a name for himself while making some money. Then a big lawyer comes in and takes away his client to make their firm more famous. You're the kind of lawyer guilty people hire/I didn't get a good feeling from this man. He even has those ads, and probably some deal with the cops to hand out his business cards.
why would u take this case that u can pocket a lot money from for free?!!! why? and i can't seem to find any reason or hidden one that she'll benefit from. strange!
and believe me the cat will be the reason he'll go free (if he does) i just feel it.
I was talking about how John is like a guardian angel and then he goes and asks for 75k, like of course he’s gotta get paid but asking for them to mortgage the house was low! I thought he was doing this cause he was thinking ahead of the game and thinking about the civil suit and the money they can earn by suing the police department. It really hurt me when Naz and him said goodbye! I do believe he’s a good man, maybe not the best lawyer but still.
Naz has like curious puppy eyes and he looks all around and I just want him to keep his eyes down, like of course you are curious but it’s jail not a museum tour.
The police officers are so inhumane but I guess in their eyes if you are there you are guilty and you are not human anymore and you are a rapist murderer but the thing is we don’t believe that of Naz, but inside that universe he looks really guilty.
And I feel so bad for their taxi :( once I read getting a taxi permit in ny is super expensive so I feel really bad for the three families.
And I don’t understand why he didn’t accept Freddy’s protection???
And I also wonder where the show is taking is cause so far there hasn’t been any new clue or suspect! Other than the person taking the pics of Mr Khan!
