1x01 Pilot

I really, really did not like this pilot. It's not funny, none of it. I almost turned it off several times. (Edit: The UK series pilot was far better.)

But I'll at least give this show the full first season to grow on me, since it's only five more episodes.

This is one of the best pilots I have ever seen, right down to the last few minutes

I was hoping it'd be better than I thought but unfortunately it isn't. IMO the jokes are just too cheap, flat, and/or stupid. I usually don't like shows focused on comedy for that reason. The niveau is normally just too low...

Anyway, I gave it a try but I likely won't continue it.

Have to watch this show again.

Still not over the fact how Steve Carell looks this season. Anyway solid, solid pilot episode!

Pretty easy to guess the punchline of most of the jokes

I know all the characters so well, I’ve watched so many clips. It’s the office, never watched a show before that I’d never watched but knew so much about. Finally started it.

If this episode was supposed to make me want to watch this show, it did the exact opposite. It was absolutely horrid. I love Steve Carell, but I was not impressed and couldn't even make it through the whole episode. SMH. Definitely not the show for me.

It was an intro to the tv series as the reginol manager as the main character and downsizing moment as the situation. Start with introduction to office setup, it staff and enviroment. The manager make a good deal with different attitude people as the it was his principle and main honour of successful office management.

This made me cringe a lot. I'm pretty sure Michael was written as a character you should hate at first, and the writers did a good job at it. I truly hate him in this episode.

5.5/10 (rounded to 6), this was not a good pilot, and I really hope something is going to change later on in the show.

Comedy pilots are rarely good. This one is no different.

Nowhere near as funny as the original UK pilot, felt very forced and failed to deliver. It didn’t even feel like a mockumentary but just a sitcom.

Here we go again and I'm not regretting it!

Considering how brilliant the original show is, this is apalling. It’s so bad I wandered off and forgot I was even watching it, halfway through.

3rd time watching the whole set of seasons and I know this is solidified as one of my favourite shows. One of the reasons I've never watched the UK original is because I love this one too much and I can't bring myself to. Michael Scott seems a little unbelievable hit by Scott is he entertaining.
