Homer the pig is hold up in his pen. He's unable to move his back leg. His vet is perplexed, so Sonya steps in to help. Cesar the camel is holding a grudge against his owner, who was just trying to do him some good; Sonya smoothes things over between the two. Sonya also does a bit of matchmaking between Kodiak bears and has a chat with Frank the pug, the star of Men in Black II.

While fellow animal performers, Tonka and Chisholm, two curious Texas longhorn steers, have lots of questions for Sonya.

While an animal enthusiast, Carol Dorner, expects a new addition to her menagerie. She asks Sonya if all is with her mother-to-be giraffe, Jupiter. Sonya also speaks with Tonka, who like other dogs his age, suffers from constantly achy limbs brought on by terrible bouts of arthritis. Nothing seems to ease his pain.
