Simone is pretty stupid. First she goes off without much of a plan. Then she has to stop and stares at the hungry people and loses track of her brother and Beatrice. Then she just hands over food the father she meets - without being careful. He easily could have killed her. Then she exposes herself to the hungry people as they’re feeding so it’s no surprise one followed her. Then she says in front of the hungry man threatening them- that there’s another bunker.
The show has potential but after meeting the group and seeing the hunters trying to kidnap survivors then Simone and her brother should have figure out bad things are everywhere. There’s no excuse for being that naive. Ignorant of what’s happened, yes. Naive? No. They’re with a group that was ready to leave them for dead so they should know that people are willing to do sketchy things.
This episode was a letdown. I’m not sure if I like the show enough to continue.
The one thing I liked was Beatrice telling both Rasmus and Martin the same thing about growing up in those places. It’s an interesting manipulative move.
A much more real possibility than zombies for sure. I think it should still make us think about humanity doing times like these. Survive or not. Share or not.
