This whole season, although beautiful cinematics, seemed rush. The final showdown in this episode just didn't give the build-up justice.
Oh no Will died ...oh fine... i can live with that...until next season
Well, well, what a disappointment..
And way to rushed at the end!
... To be continued! He he
Overall, it was just a show that never really impressed me. So I am not sad to see it ending.
Overall I liked the show…this season finale wasn’t great at all…but I will keep in my memory the season one finale and the development of Eretreia character this season that for me was the highlight of the season…
They totally ruined this already lame finale with the "Will is alive" ending. Lol
Hope there is a 3rd season. Hope the show further improves the pacing and quality of the show. Would really love to see this show go towards the very end of the books
Why did you have to ruin Wil’s death, writers? I was so happy, he is such a boring and flat character. It’s sad that Allanon isn’t part of the show in season 3 anymore (if there is a season 3).
The description for this episode - I think Allanon will die? It would make sense, his role as druid is over. I hope Lyria survives this season (and stays in the cast).

End of season. That was quite bad.
I'm really disappointed in the Warlock Lord. In the end it was only a vague if he get there everything is lost threat. For what ? All he did was turn some water red for a few minutes. No damage, no army, no destruction. He barely even use magic, they're always fighting with swords. He killed Bandon, Riga, and a few Crimson soldiers. That's it, only bad guys. And finally Allanon, whose death looked really cheap by the way. Eretria killed more good guys than him. Wasn't there a war that burned all of the world the last time ? Now he's been defeated again, and barely 50 people know about it. It never felt like they was any real stake, specially after hyping him so much. Bandon would have made a better villain.
So why are they all fighting with swords and no magic ? Specially the Warlock Lord, as he probably has a clear advantage if the fight goes the magic way. Allanon waited until the very end to try one magic attack.
Wil's pep talk, urgh. "Until you have lived with magic you can't know its price." Bitch, please. She's been living with magic for far longer and is so much better at it than you! What makes you an expert. And he just looks like he's thinking "All right, I'm gonna get this girl!", not "We're gonna save the world". Honestly can't tell how much of it is a lame character and how much is bad acting.
Lyria's been stunned, they just wake her up when they arrive and she's just ok and start running, ok. For what ? Everything is finished before she went half the distance. Couldn't she have helped in the fight ?
Jax's reaction when he learns that Eretria's been compromised and is evil now, that she totally played him, and is now in the one place she shouldn't ? Absolutely nothing. No surprise, no denying, no wondering how, nothing. I mean, if it's so easy to accept that Eretria's turned evil, why couldn't Cogline ? How to know which one is lying ? By the way, we already know she's turned evil, so the flickering eyes thing, please don't.
The whole dam thing was ridiculous.
1) How long would the dam hold anyway ? Water is already pretty high when it's totally opened and there's a lot of water flowing. It would go over it pretty quickly.
2) Eretria supposedly went to stop it, but nobody noticed the water was still flowing ?
3) Anyway the contamination is going faster than the flow and is definitely not a quantity thing, so what's the point in stopping it once it passed ?
4) When they beat Eretria and she's passed out, so she represents no danger for the moment, it's more important to cast the Wraith out than to close the dam.
5) Even after that, they still don't close it
6) And it's a good think they don't as the cleansing wave comes after
This is only a poor subplot to artificially create something for the other characters to do while the main action is elsewhere, and it's very poorly done.
A big lol at the Ghostbuster scene.
The whole Warlock Lord fight is poor too. But that's to be expected, there still haven't been any sign that Wil is supposed to have a hundredth of the strength/magic/skill needed, so it has to go a ridiculous way. How could anybody think this guy has any chance in this fight, why don't they send an army ?
And the way it ends, cliche and stupid. And don't fucking remove the sword! Aren't you supposed to be a healer ? That's the worst thing to do. Also isn't the Warlock Lord sword poisoned or evil, wouldn't he hurt him even more than just the blade ? And maybe poison his blood ?
Now how about the cleaning ? The Warlock Lord just spilt a few drops of his blood, why would it need so much more from Wil ? And in case it needs more, why jump inside ? Wouldn't it be better to stay alive the longest possible to keep blood pumping ? Also what happens ? He just dissolves inside it ? It would be creepy to just have his corpse floating there.
"The magic was inside me all along." Litterally. Please!
Also "Love conquers all" ? How the hell is that a lesson of this battle ?
