[6.0/10 on a post-classic Simpsons scale] This one gets hate for the wrong reasons. Yes, it's weird to make it so that Homer and Marge's young couple period took place at a time when The Simpsons itself was on the air .But there was inevitably going to be some awkwardness to the show always being set in the present day as it began running forever, and it's the kind of thing you can live with. What's less palatable is retconning Homer & Marge's relationship history to include a weak love triangle that ends not because of personal epiphanies or breakthroughs, but because the third angle of it acts mean one time. This is a wasted opportunity to explore why Homer and Marge belong together, and instead, the writers never do the work to accomplish that, and get jumbled up in an aimless 1990s spoof.

It was a decent episode, funny to see Homer and Marge being young in the '90s but in a way it keeps the show somewhat fresh as opposed to always seeing them young in the '70s orso.
