I thought Ambrose suspected Sonya of knowing Nick and Jamie. Now that seems dropped. I wonder if Ambrose and Sophie will have a thing before seasons end.
Were Jamie and Nick lovers? It sure feels like together they did horrible, sinister things.
Things are on the slow side, reminding me once again of The Outsider.

I’m really excited about this season, the mystery looks so intriguing!
However I think it was kind of a reach for detective Ambrose to realize so quickly that there was foul play, like yes he is an amazing detective but all he had was that they were on private property (they could’ve gotten lost), there was blood on the radio (it could be from james’ injuries), that the phone was turned off and wiped clean (the friend wasn’t big on technology so he could’ve turn it off to enjoy being with james), and that the last ping they got from the friend’s phone was around 3:15 or so and that the 911 came in at 4:30 or so, but I don’t think cell towers can tell you when a phone is turned off? And James could’ve been in shock or passed out, which we know he wasn’t but I just think Ambrose was so quick to jump to those conclusions. Also I’m intrigued as to where the show is going cause usually we don’t see the killing scene til the end but it was shown in the first episode.
