I really do like slow burn Horror, but this is getting ridiculous. Over a third of the way through this story and there's been plenty of drama but next to zero scares. Maybe it's just me. I've seen so much Horror and as I've gotten older, there isn't much in the way of Movies or TV that I find scary at all. I will give the creators of this story credit for a unique setting, good atmosphere, and my gratitude for minimal gore and lack of jump scares (gore and jump scares are NOT scary). I really like the cast as well. Some fine acting. I'm just getting tired of waiting for something game changing to happen. At this point, the Japanese families are both victims of war and the supernatural. I expect something will turn the tables soon?
