Absolute $hite... nothing makes sense unless you are on LSD, because the writter and director were on it when they made this crap. Watched 3 episodes.. I want my life back!!!!

I wished I had read the comments before watching. I persevered thinking it must come together properly at the end.

Looking back, it felt like someone had taken the atmosphere of the original Wickerman and stretched it over 6 season. If you fancy the idea of watching Wickerman 4 times in a row, the enjoy. Otherwise, maybe not.

Wow, this is bad. If you get the chance to not watch this show then good on you! I'm now jealous of you.

I thought the undoing that hbo did was trash and it was, but then this show came along and was like "hold my beer". This shit is garbage like everything HBO does now..zero stars!

This is great show. The visuals are perfect, the acting is beleavable, the music is good.
The storyline full of mysteries, but lots of it revealed in later episodes.
Genres are:
- Drama [yes]
- Mystery [yes]
- Fantasy [yeah, you have to imagine things, but this is not LOTR]
- Science Fiction [no]

I really want at least one episode in the next season, that shows you what happened in almost one year in the Island while the current father ruled...

It started fine, but suddenly nothing makes sense and ends without making any sense at all. The story is poor, the acting is weird and it doesn't worth the time. HBO has lots of great shows, but this is not one of them.

This series was just a little on the slow side. There's a decent mystery that builds and builds. Some of the mystery I assume most viewers can see coming, but some of the mystery will be a welcome surprise.
Do not just stop after the 3rd episode. The second set of 3 episodes are important to fill in the entire story. Sure there are unanswered questions maybe, if there's a season 2 they will get answered?

[HBO] It's one of the weirdest and most risky series of 2020, which isn't to say it's perfect. "Summer" introduces the elements of the puzzle, in a way that is too chaotic and convoluted. "Autumn" is a unique, fascinating and spiritual experience. In "Winter" the pieces are put together until an ending in which everything (or almost everything) fits. One of the most suggestive audiovisual works in recent years.

The series started off kinda interesting and then went entirely off the rails. The whole idea of the festival made a bit of sense, but then never was actually addressed, only few people coming to something meant to make money, then..... . Because only that can explain the remainder of season 1.

Unfortunately the season has an open ending and as this was cancelled, there will never be a conclusion to the series.
Not that it matters that much, because it's all quite rubbish :)

Dont bother with this series.

What the hell was that ne* ending? The script/plot/story started out with mysteries and suspense and ended with random d* scenes that answered nothing and had not bothered to (comment sex* section does not allow edite* editing of errors) Wish I trusted the reviews and only watch episode 1-3 which is the better ending than 6.

For a TV show, it's pretty good. I liked the first 3 episodes. Started really solid. After that it went downhill. However it's enjoyable and entertaining.

The Third Day is a captivating and unusual mini series that is beautifully crafted and acted. It is a breath of fresh air, packed full of bold ideas that draw you in and keep you watching to the end. Congrats to all involved and thank you for making it! 7/10
