What trashy direction. Can you not tell a single moment without zooming in on characters' faces while blurring the background/adding gratuitous depth of field? Not to mention throwing in some unnecessary dream sequence? Also, how is it possible for the protagonist to be this unlikable? We get it, the protagonist is unstable - can we stop teleporting around and tell a cohesive story for at least a few seconds before you try to show us what you learned in film school?
Anyway, series started off with potential, but was ruined by (what I consider to be) an idiot director. Shame, too, as the cast did a good job and the plot seemed salvageable.
I don't think I've ever been this frustrated at an episode of television :D if you love characters who struggle to walk a few feet for no discernible reason, God rays in every shot, jump cuts from face to face for 60 minutes, and enough dream sequences to question your own sobriety, then this pitiful excuse for a series is for you.
I've memorized every pore on Jude Law's face thanks to this. Good times.
