Having only watched this version, I legitimately do not see how it could possibly be the lesser one. Kate is probably the single most entertaining reality TV contestant since New York, and the end game is just utterly wild. I'm excited to check out the UK and Dutch versions soon but this is a high, high, high benchmark to beat.
If you're against racism don't watch episode 11, I'm so sick & tired shows lie this and Big Brother not calling out racism of all forms when someone literally says they onyl wanted people witht he same skin color as themselves in the end.
I thought the Uk, Aussie and US versions were pretty much the same so far as the game was concerned but found the US version slightly more dull (for a lack of a better term) simply because of the celebrities they brought in.
All I could think of was did they try to make this celebrity Traitors and just couldn't come up with enough B celebrities or did they actually think mixing them with every day people that had no experience in games like Big Brother or Survivor was a good idea? and why?!
I watched so far several season of the version of the show from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany and the UK. This version from the US is by far the worst of them. The show just doesn’t work with reality tv candidates. They should just keep „famous“ (not that I think reality tv candidates are famous!) people out of that show, it works just much better with normal people.
These reality tv personalities are just the most annoying thing and doesn’t work in that show.
PLEASE watch the much better versions of this show from the UK, Canada, Australia or/and New Zealand.

Alan Cumming is the best host of the 3 so far.
As for the U.S. cast they were quite petty and their ego's took centre stage for most of the first 3 or 4 episodes. The first couple of votes were simply payback or spite - not so much cause they were the "Traitor" Thankfully it got better as it went along.
I'm really sick & tired shows like this and Survivor for not calling out racism (they are pretty quick to call out diversity) when someone literally says they only wanted (black) people at the end/winner. Think of the noise if a white person said they'd vote people out only because of their skin colour so that whitey's are in the final!! Racism comes in all colours - not just white!

I've completed the UK version and I'm about halfway through the US version. Let me just say I think both versions of the show are very good. Just all around good TV. I personally love Werewolf and this is a great adaptation.
In an early episode one of the reality show stars just perfectly drops a note that immediately throws the house into chaos. This just screams a producer told her to do that and cheapens the show. You just know one producer thought they had to make things interesting and meddle so these big personalities could do exactly what they brought them there to do.
All in all I think I like that this group is better than Werewolf, I just don't like the reality show stars. If they do a season 2 I hope they don't do that again.

Ok, now having finished both I have more thoughts I think:
Christian was such an awful traitor. His acting surprised every morning would have made B movie actors cringe, I don't know how he kept going under the radar. I'm glad the other two traitors worked together to boot him out because he was pretty much already counting his money and was just getting more and more obnoxious with each episode.
Kate kind of pissed me off because she kept saying she didn't want to be there and was derailing the game. These are the worst people to play werewolf with. I don't know how much of an act it was, but she sucked.
I was 100% sure in the end the two remaining reality stars were going to throw the game to let the non-reality stars win. That totally still seems like a thing a reality show producer would rig as a feel good moment. That was a pretty nuts gambit Cyrie pulled.
I still don't know what happens when there's a tie in votes after watching the US and UK versions. When it got down to 2 traitors and 2 failthfuls at the end, that would be instant game over in werewolf. In this, I have no idea.

Missions, still the worst part of the show.
I laughed that they got rid of the "kiss of death" murder, that one did seem pretty problematic. I was wondering how they were going to handle it, I guess the answer was to just remove it.
The shields still seem totally pointless because the traitors just have too much info to make them worthwhile even with the same guy winning the shield every single time.
All-in-all, great show. I don't know which version I like better, doesn't really matter since I'll keep watching both.
I found this to be totally entertaining and hopefully there will be more seasons to come….
I have watched the Dutch, Australian, uk and now the American versions, each new interpretation gets better and obviously more fine tuned.
If I had to pick my favourite version it will have to be the uk one, it could have so easily have been the American version, but the two things that stop that are as follows…..
1) basically copied 99.9% of the uk version, which is a shame as they could have altered/changed at least half the games.
2) having “ celebrity reality stars” as part of the contestants, they play up for the cameras are not that bothered about the prize money.
Luckily being a British I had basically never heard of any of them, but you could see they just wanted all the attention….
So next season go all normal people and introduce a few more different games and you could become my :pound_symbol:1 traitor show!!!!
Oh and even do a all celebrity special once a year, possibly for charity…..
I did not find the US version as good as the UK one, but it was still entertaining. Lots of backstabbing. But the way the US cast is fake … and wannabe celebrities who think they are as amazing as Alan Cumming hahaha

A shame they decided to fill half of the slots with 'reality tv' people and literally copy the entire UK version of the show. Still an entertaining watch, but after just finishing the 4th season of the OG Dutch show, and the first seasons of the UK and AU show back-to-back, this unoriginal copy fell absolutely flat.
