Are we just gonna pretend that Rod Serling didn't invent like 75% of the tropes currently used in horror movies with this show

Surely one of the best TV series of all time. The foundations of modern fantasy movies can be found in the twilight zone. Rod Serling is a genius. Sorry for my English :wink:.

Timeless classic series. Rod Serling helps set a mysterious, unique, and intriguing tone in every episode. Sharp writing, great set design, fitting performances, and solid cinematography. There aren't many shows quite like The Twilight Zone.
If you are into story lines rather than fancy graphics then this is perfect. Second last season was a bit too long. A lot of modern story lines are based on some of these episodes. Think this show was based on the show lights out.
A must see classic. Dated, but outstanding!!

It’s amazing to me that this series started 3 years after I was born. I don’t remember when I started watching it but I was always glued to it. I have probably seen every episode at least 2 or 3 times. It was nothing like anything else on TV at the time and is still today unique. It’s always a great late night watch or good to watch on some kind of holiday day marathon. This and the Outer Limits will always be my b&w favorites.
