Very bad episode , ruined the whole show with weak dialogue at the end.
I really can't tell if Allison or Vanya is dumber or more emotionally unstable. Klaus is almost reasonable and reliable, in comparison.
This is getting crappier and crappier. Load of illogical and dysfynctional idiots duking it out.
basically, if 5 doesn't had going back in time again, things would turn out ok. Vanya was finding the truth about Harold. Now she is going directly to what 5 was trying to prevent
Vanya is a shitty, illogical, dumb mess of a character and Ellen Page a one dimensional actress.
There, I said it. Skipping her scenes with or w/o Leonard make this show a lot better.
Ugh, what's with the weird camera angles!?
I don't think I've ever experienced such shock watching a show ever. I legit sat there with my mouth open for like 3 minutes when Vanya slashed Allison's throat. Like what?!?!?
Literally gasped at the end there. Wow.
I actually didn't care about Allison because her hot'n'cold attitude with Vanya annoyed me, her will-they-won't-they relationship with Luther didn't interest me and we never really saw her using her powers. I was hoping they would flesh her out more in the next season, so I definitely didn't see her death coming. It really took me by surprise.
Now I'm wondering if they'll change timelines again or if they'll live with that death. I certainly would prefer the latter because Allison is just not likeable to me. I don't even understand why she suddenly had an epiphany about the brainwashing she did as a kid. She sounded surprised at first like she really just remembered it but then it just seems like really cheap writing.
Anyway, I don't really agree with most of the negative comments here. It's annoying that Vanya doesn't listen to Allison and that Allison went there alone, yes, but I can kind of get where Vanya is coming from. She took meds to suppress her feelings all her life, she has her first real relationship with someone who seemingly considers her special, she just learned Allison is responsible for suppressing her power and Allison was about to control her again. Her "overreaction" seems pretty understandable to me.
It seems like the motel Hezel stops at is the same motel from Schitt’s Creek (which by the way is one of the funniest shows on tv currently). I wonder if this scene was shot in Canada.
Contains Spoiler... sort of
I think the changes they made to the original story are working (for me at least).. Very sad...to see someone lose their moorings after a lifetime of betrayal. Anyway, I think they've gotten to the same place by a different route. Of course, Ellen Page's acting is making it real.
That elevator scene going to the secret room reminded me of when she was going the down elevator in Inception (2010). The end scene here was a shocker!
You ability is tied to your emotions. Your brain is constantly taking in stimuli. And for you, when you feel a strong emotion, the sounds around you are somehow converted into energy.

Il tuo potere è legato alle tue emozioni. Il tuo cervello acquisisce costantemente degli stimoli. E nel caso in cui provi un’emozione forte i suoni intorno a te vengono convertiti in energia.
Oh snap  What just happened?
This is the first episode that has made me want to get straight onto the next one! Show took a while to get going for me. Something was lacking. Turns out that something was dark Vanya!

I get that Vanya has the self esteem of a rubber ducky but ....not believing what her sister said about Leonard? I didn't think she was stupid. Not even listening to what she said...that's unrealistic for her character. these guys don't have an ounce of common sense, not even combined.
