That IKEA mafia line really cracked me up, more than it should have.
I don’t know who annoys me more: Luther or Diego (whose new look I’m not a fan of at all).
And does the whole Luther/Allison thing bother anyone else? Yeah, they’re not blood-related, but everyone else in the family embraces their brotherly/sisterly bond. It’s just a little odd to have romance there.
Greatest Character Improvement: Klaus. I wasn’t sure I’d like him at the start of the series. He was just wayyy over-the-top and obviously reaching to be a fan favorite. Happy to see them level him out a bit, while keeping him eccentric and giving him more sincere moments. I’ve grown to like the character a lot.
The one thing I dislike about american time traveling shows is their obsession with JFK’s assassination, please let that man rest in peace and come up with new historic events, obviously this looks like a new approach but just get over him please.
Can't say I'm surprised by that ending. Knew old girl was wayy too cool about all the stuff happening with Diego and Five. Plus she was supposed to go do her own thing once she broke out with Diego.
60 years later, we are still fighting the same issues... Black Lives Matter!
Also, that scene with Klaus... Ouch, my heart.
I really love how this is all coming together. Loved seeing more of Klaus' background during the years. But heartbreaking for him to meet Dave like this. And Ben thought it was all egoistical, well, no matter which outcome, it's so far removed from it. Either he goes to war anyway and dies all over again, or he doesn't, but will never be with Klaus. :pensive:
The cinematography in this, as usual, is superb.
And revelations about the "crazy lady"! She sure wasn't "crazy enough" to be in the institution. Wonder how that'll play out.
Disappointed in Ray. As if his wife suddenly's a monster, only because she has... oooooo scary powers. But I guess... that might be good for Luther?
Am I the only one this show is making want to get a Hello/Goodbye tat? ... I won't, but my palms are itchy hahahaha
Golden brown - The Strangles
Golden brown, texture like sun
Lays me down, with my might she runs
Throughout the night
No need to fight
Never a frown with golden brown
Every time just like the last
On her ship tied to the mast
To distant lands
Takes both my hands
Never a frown with golden brown
Golden brown, finer temptress
Through the ages she's heading west
From far away
Stays for a day
Never a frown with golden brown
Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown
With golden brown (with golden brown), with golden brown
Never a frown (never a frown), never a frown
With golden brown…
Local celeb Robert Maillet is in this one... he's hard to miss, he's the guy that 7'0" without any special effects.

the Sweds? I prefer on calling them Swedish House Mafia
Oh Klaus and Dave. :( that was so heartbreaking. I'll admit I'd forgotten all about his Vietnam story. I'm a sucker for a self centred character with a soft spot.
Also hello! That ending twist, great reveal. Can't wait for more. Love her character so more nuance is always welcomed. Especially having a daughter!

That scene with Klaus and Dave was so raw and heartbreaking
