They needed a hot evil guy back in the show now that Stefan is good and Damon well he'll always be my favourite bad guy. I'm really going to miss this show :(
Man, I'm loving these call-back episodes. That intro was one of the best throughout the entire show.
Also, Cade is the most manipulative son of a bitch, telling Stefan: "You're destined for hell, why should [Caroline] be?" when it has been stated numerous times, including not 20 minutes earlier in that very episode, that killing one person is enough to make sure you end up in hell forever, and Caroline has killed plenty as well - meaning she'll be going there anyway.
+1 because Kai will always be my guy.
So disappointing that it is all about to be permanently over! I am not sure at this point if it is because they are ending the series or if it was canceled. It also sucks that they are even making the final season shorter than usual.
