This is a phenomenal season and when I first watched it eight years ago, I was incredibly blown away! I love this show and I love the story! Let us hope the seasons can remain up to par in the future!
87%??? Seriously??? The first season is so boring... I hope it gets better later on
edit: I gave it another chance and kept watching and it grew on me. It has its ups and downs and it pisses me of sometimes but If you're into zombie movies/shows you're going to like this one.
The cast is really good and the characters they bring to life are interesting. That's mainly what's kept me watching the series.
are there only six episodes to season 1?
watching twd for the first time (yes, it's possible) and this season is very, VERY good. one of the best first seasons i've seen for sure. and i felt like i was watching an acting masterclass the entire time
7.5 for this seasons opening credit scene
Short but intense series of episodes that somehow managed to give back dignity to zombie flicks. The show still works within the clichés (God, that love triangle), but at the same time has a gritty and semi-realistic tone which I appreciate. It seems that it's nothing compared to the tone of the comics, but here you go.
Watching this now need to binge watch a few episodes i think to catch up!!!

I am stunned at what they could do in only 6 episodes. That kind of number can make or break- and it definitely made. It never ceased to surprise me and I was hooked the entire time!
