"that doesn't quite explain the potato" - an actual line from iconic tv series the x-files omg
Quite possibly one of the most fun episodes of the show.
This episode was painful for us. Story was sub-par and worse was the acting at parts. We had too many groans and face palm moments while trying to get through this episode.
Now I know how to remove warts.
I mean, if someone pretends to eat a grasshopper only to retrieve it later from behind your ear, you're basically married.
What a funny ending, wow I loved this episode
M&S investigate serial killings at a circus freak show.
The first Darin Morgan episode so it's also the first funny one. I love the dialog between the characters here. Primarily Jim Rose who plays Dr. Blockhead. Duchovny and Anderson have great comedic timing and there are some moments here. Like when Dr. Blockhead is explaining how awful it would be going through life looking like Mulder, then the camera zooms to Duchovny who's striking a pose on the front steps of a trailer. Anderson has her moment, too. She puts a live cricket in her mouth.
Secondary characters in this episode: None
The special effects for the "monster" may look a little rubbery now, but it's the only negative in an otherwise fun and quirky episode. It's also written by Darin Morgan, who's responsible for some of the very best X-Files episodes.
Sully even fooled me lol i was like, what happened when she almost died? She seems different, better i might even say the partnership is so much stronger now
Absolutely silly episode, but somehow funny lol
This episode is fantastic!! I never expected to like it so much. Very silly, very entertaining.

This was really funny (and I think intentionally so!) The goofiest least convincing monster yet, with a silly name to boot. Plus a number of moments with excellent comic timing:
Laughed out loud multiple times.
