If you'll excuse me, I'll spend the rest of the day thinking about Mulder telling to Scully "you're my one in five billion" while staring at my ceiling.

Whoa, I thought the first Act was pretty intense, reminds me of previous episodes of X-Files, but man did they really dug into it in Act 2.

I love the premise. A manager for a telemarketing company is actually some kind of insect who can camouflage himself to look like a normal person. One particular employee can see his true alien form and goes crazy, taking hostages at his work so he can broadcast the alien's true form. He manages to pass his ability to see thru the camouflage to Mulder, but no one believes Mulder, either.

There are some scary shots of the man/bug lurking around making zombies out of people. Turns out, the man/bug has been doing this same thing in five or six other states, moving around the country, creating zombie drones. Scully finally sees the bug as well and files a hard to believe report to Skinner. I really like the effect of the huge bug, skittering around on ceilings and walls. The way they sped up its movements, while not a great effect, really dialed up the creepiness.

Secondary Characters in this episode: none

Skully continues to be stubbornly reserved when reporting the facts. Mulder seemed way helpless the past few episodes, what's up with Mulder? Is it because he's doubting his beliefs?
