LOL After seeing it in its entirety, I gotta say.. genius, sheer genius! Love the "one-shot" directing style, and things like this I always look for the transitions, found a few, and I kept smiling the whole time, especially towards the end.. anti-Titanic, but keeping their cool; very well done! #Triangle

The X-Files goes full Star Trek, only not as fun. When the show jumped the shark this time, they gave Fox and Scully a unicycle and pointed them towards a 2x4 propped up on some old bricks and pointed towards a stadium-sized tank containing a megalodon.

All this typed, there is an extended scene featuring Scully attempting to get a piece of information that feels really good while you're watching it. That's despite the fact that she's behaving out of character and other characters, who aren't good, become even greater caricatures than they already are. Taken on it's own, this was a fun scene. Perhaps one of the tensest in a thriller-genre manner to date.

This episode features very dynamic camera work. Unfortunately, much of the episode suffers from terrible natural lighting - at least as I viewed the episode. On the plus side, much of the score is quite nice and rousing at times. A nicely shot large brawl occurs, which was fun. This episode actually has a lot of fun moments. Some of it is a rip roaring adventure.

Did this episode really happen or was it The X-Files Agent of Oz Trek?

Somehow Mulder ends up on the Queen Anne fighting Nazis. The ship reappears in the Bermuda Triangle and Scully, along with the help of the Lone Gunmen, scramble to find him. This is one of those episodes that all TV series do that allows the actors in the series to play characters unlike their normal roles.

"Triangle" is well loved by critics and fans alike, but I'm not overwhelmed. I do really like the segment of Scully being followed around the FBI offices and hallways trying to get information that will help her locate Mulder. Gillian Anderson does some of her very best work here and the way the camera follows her every move and reaction is excellent.

Secondary characters in this episode: CSM, Kersh, Spender

The dancefloor brawl reminded me of a Benny Hill episode.

This is a really fun episode! Probably going in my top 10 of goofy X-Files episodes.

haha I'm only 3-min in and the crew pulled him in from the ocean and is kicking him, but I'm willing to guess that this one will be looslely inspired by the popularity of TITANIC which came out just around that time. Either that, or it has something to do with the Bermuda Triangle, judging from the title of the episode.
